Fellow Canadian here! I hear you. Also now going by our daughters school schedule. Obviously hot but not horribly? Do you have a time in the summer you think is best?

We have some FCCs left over and looking to book from NY on oasis this summer. We are looking between either July 1st or later in July. Is it ridiculous to do this sailing in the summer? Will we be completely overheating?

A note of caution. I've heard reports ( 1 even from a friend ) of resorts who give people false positives to force them to stay at the hotel quarantined at their own expense. I would only trust one who say they take of responsibility of cost after because they don't want to spend money if they don't have to.

Is it possible they are stopping it because they don't want positive numbers related to them. Like if it happens at home it doesn't count?

Same! I was quite shocked to see many not wear masks, actually be talking to staff and no one said anything. To be honest I noticed it a lot with kids ( would say they ages 6-10 about) running around no masks. Only time i saw someone enforce the mask rule was when they walked up to guest services and at the desk they asked them to mask up.

I think they are just trying to adapt to the changing covid climate. And it definitely is changing for the worse. They need to do everything in their power to prove cruising is safe and not get shut down again. But I do agree they should stay with less capacity.

We just did this. It was easy to book and made reservations for every night. 150 CP is by far our favorite! Waiter Ben that works there is the absolute BEST!

I was on the sailing right before and I agree that the most difficult place to find a seat was the windjammer

They did not give me strict instructions. However im of the mentality that anytime anyone is awaiting results they should be staying home ( which i did).

Just came home from the Symphony nov 27th - dec 3rd sailing. We were 4 vaccinated adults. 1 was the only 1 chosen for a random PCR at the airport. My sisters custom agent was happy and laughing and didn't care she was on a cruise. Mine was stone faced and told me I needed to test. tested at 7pm and results by 3 pm following day.

Royals website used to say it would administer a PCR for countries requiring it. It no longer mentions it at all! Only the testing for kids? Anyone have insight if its been removed as an option? Leaving next week and that would be a huge issue!

Were there lines for specific times? I hope so too!

I'm hearing a lot of people complain about an absolutely chaotic boarding experience in Miami recently getting on symphony. No specific lines for times, just 1 HUGE line and noone checking arrival times. Anyone sail recently or on now and have experience with this?

So just used the app and were able to make all reservations for UDP? Thats what I'm hoping for as well. But we are 2 couples and want to make reservations together ( bookings have been linked by our TA) and thats what making me worried doesn't work properly.

Travelling end Nov on symphony with my husband and sister with her wife. When making dinner reservations in the app once on board, is it possible to make for 2 linked cabins? Or will it only make for individual room reservations ? I know you can go to a specialty restaurant or dining desk to book. But hoping to do it quickly in the app once onboard.

Did they play an NFL game on Sunday in the aquatheater? I've read they sometimes do that and mybhusband would LOVE it!

Although my assumption is that it will eventually become mandatory as it becomes available. I have to assume that they will give an amount of time for it to become in effect. A buffer to give people time.
