  1. Thank you so much for your replies!! I'm just 43 days away from setting sail!!!!
  2. I'd like to piggy back onto this thread. My cabin mate and I have the DDP and I was just wondering (I've never cruised on RC), can I get the premium coffees anywhere or are there designated places I have to go to order them? I know Starbucks is off-limits, but I'm not a Starbucks kind of gal anyway. Was wondering if I can get the fresh-squeezed orange juice and premium coffees in the Windjammer and Main Dining Room?
  3. I'm breathing easier already! Thank you so much for answering my question!! ?
  4. I'll be on Oasis of the Seas (Western Caribbean) in March. My cabin mate and I have already booked and paid for our excursions. My question is about the logistics of it all. Will we get more information once we check in or do we need to wait til we're on the ship and ask ship personnel for details? I've never been to any of these places so do we just walk off the ship, and like at airports, someone from the excursion will be standing on the dock with a sign? Do we get a map of where we need to go to begin our excursion? Example: I'm doing Salsa, Salsa, Margaritas in Cozumel. How do I know where it is? How to get there? Is it within walking distance? Do I need to find a taxi or bus? Will someone be at the dock waiting for all of us doing that excursion? Or is this information we will get once we are on board? Thanks so much in advance!
  5. I can't thank all of you enough for helping to clear away the fog about these tech issues!!! ?
  6. Thank you so much for that information! My dad doesn't have anything like that--just a simple land line. I'm thinking this means I'll need to check with my provider to see about using my phone once I'm on land (Labadee, Falmouth, Cozumel) to check in back in Ohio and then put the phone back in airplane mode when I board the ship.
  7. I'm still really confused about internet access on board. My cabin mate and I have purchased The Key so VOOM has been included. I had also read about putting the phone on airplane mode to avoid roaming charges. We both have elderly parents back home (traveling from Ohio to Port Canaveral) and want to be able to stay in contact back home. So now that we both have VOOM does that mean I can/should just leave my phone as is for the duration of the trip while I'm on board? I've already downloaded the RC App on my phone. My cabin mate and I will be in different activities while on board and it would be nice to be able to text each other to arrange meet-ups/keep in touch for when activities begin/end. When we are doing shore excursions (Labadee, Falmouth, and Cozumel), is that when I should put my phone into airplane mode? Any info/advice/clarifications would be GREATLY appreciated!
  8. Hi Everyone! I will be cruising on Oasis of the Seas, 7-night western Caribbean, leaving March 17. This will be my 2nd ever cruise. I'm part of the 20th anniversary Club Scrap group. I've been visiting this blog and watching Matt's videos on YouTube for a while now. I've gotten so much good information and I'm taking Matt's advice and trying to, perhaps, connect with people ahead of time. I'll be busy with workshops the 1st two days at sea, but the rest of the time is mine. I'm bringing a non-scrapbooking friend as my roomie. This will be her first cruise. We're both so excited!!!
