Hi DChapetta, I am getting the Chill Island Cabana & will be there on Monday. I wanted to mention that customer service finally got back to me on the stated ameneties/highlights indicated for the Chill Island cabanas. The speaker, is by request only and it did not sound like they had enough for each cabana. The “combination locking lid” does not exist. The attendant to replenish your water bottles, does not exist, you get 8 bottles in a cooler handed to you. And from reading this blog , there is not a cabana attendant making rounds at all. I ended up getting $ for the misrepresentation. Wanted to mention if you are factoring in any of the stat d highlights from the cruise planner. I did get an email that the cabana will have two matt floaties, and snorkel gear upon request.

Hi BrewerJoe, I am hoping someone with more insight chimes in. It’s our first cruise in 4 days on HOTS. In about March, i bid on a RoyalUp for one of my two rooms& have not heard or seen any indication of acceptance or denial. I was getting antsy so I put in an addition room bid( there were several choice rooms to bid on) today to try. I did not notice a fluctuation on the choices.

Hi RamblnRalph, when I had purchased items from The bottom button called “ Shop Royal Gifts....Onboard Ameneties” I recall I only needing to indicate room/ booking number and date of delivery. ..... Hi all update.....got back today from HOTS cruise..EVERYTHING ordered, required requested was there in the room we bought it for and on the day we chose! Only thing that did go right on first and last cruise. RC’s employees are spectacular, they work and litteraly run to get things done. Royal Carribean’s infrastructure, internet, coordination is terrible. NO communication to guests if an excursion changes time or gets canceled, with the VOOM HARDLY working, we were lost most of the cruise& paid for things, but missed the times since we relied on VOOM to update. The “reserved” dinner time was only right ONE day out of seven, which then meant all shows for that night were cancelled, unless we hurried to stuff our faces or just GAVEUP to eat a nice sit down meal.

Hi Silligan, , I mailed our two renewal request forms, passports and seperate checks together in one envelope in Jan. No issues, got them back super fast, within 2 weeks. FYI, the travel cards came first in seperate envelopes and outer envelope did NOT look like anything official. So double check all your incoming mail / junk mail in your mail box. Happy cruising!

Hi WannaCruise, we have two rooms. Royal made the adults split up & each one room with two young adults we are bringing. Which ended up giving us different Muster Stations. I have mobility issues & did not want to depend on my Niece the first hour we are on the ship to go to the station. I contacted customer service. They had to email the ship directly & ask the Chief Officer of Safety . I received as email right back allowing us to stay together for “ Mustard Stations” haha got a good laugh.

Hi, does anyone know if the beer by the ounce dispenser pictured above, is covered by the beverage pkg? Or should I expect a charge on my seapass?

Hi Bbjunkie, oh my gosh. I JUST bought my friend a RC gift certificate too. Once you buy the certificate, it takes 48 hours to get an email verification code. I thought it would be immidate, our cruise is only 16 days away & fine print notes MUST redeem10 BUSINESS days prior to the cruise. Still checking my email every few hours for it to show up. I went onto this blog & printed out a super cool certicate using May 24 “ free printable surprise” template

Hi Rickp703, I am sailing HOTS June 16, the CocoCay wave jet tour/driver was an excursion last year, then about Nov, poof it was gone. Not sold out, just gone( McCready) . Today, 16 days before cruise, viola, back , and showing as one hour 15 min $104.

RC just got back to me today about “combination lock lid for storage “noted inside Chill Island Cabanas, are now not provided. Thanks RC for waiting 2 weeks to tell me ....great.Traveling HOTS in 2 weeks, so scrambled & found a Travelon small, slash proof combination locking bag from Kohl’s. Hi CraniumDrain, I had tried a Royal Up bid as well , the bidding started for my one rooms at 0 & then went up. As the dial went up, color changed from weak, , medium, to strong bid. Don’t know if this helps. First cruiseHOTS in June.

Hi KwEvans, our group decided to buy our own since I didn’t want to deal with a leaking facemask & would have time to proper fit, we can get hopefully one more use on our June HOTS cruise. Dicks Sporting has Aqua Lung for $30 that included mask, footies & mouthpiece all in a nice carrying bag that is 3 pounds. I figure we will just watch where the guide points for people that rented their gear go & go that way. I’ve read that wherever the orange boys are, and to find the sunken “ plane” are the hot spots. Oh FYI , four sets take up an entire luggage suitcase bag.If you buy white Speedo version, have shorter footies, so take a lot less room.

To follow up on I srated included “amenities” Chill Island Cabana. I emailed RC the request for pictures USB outlet, pictures and size of private combination locker and such. Emailed response they would get back to me, it’s been two weeks.

Hi all, also read the fine print for alcohol included pricing..... “ each adult of legal drinking age assigned to the same stateroom MUST purchase this package”. I watched for two years, best price I got for HOTS sailing in June 2019 was a Deluxe Beverage Pkg plus VOOM one device was $62.

Hi bfbuckeye, I was wondering this as well. I read “older” comments that CocoCay lunch was only served 11 -1.....then to just find snacks kind of foods. But now with new CocoCay OpenDoc, I was going to grab pre made sandwiches at ParkCafe & toss in the cooler in the Cabana for a breakfast, just to avoid crowds & get to the cabana right away.

Great pictures of these new cabanas! Finally pics of Chill Island cabanas that show outlet/ power! The cooler is neat, but can’t put any items on the top. Wondering where the “ cocktail table that houses conveniences like a personal speaker to play your own music, a combination lock lid for storage and a USB outlet” is? Anyone have pictures or can confirm this? And provide sizes of the locked storage? Seating size is dissapointing as well.

I am doing HOTS is June. As I recall, they used to be available, but haven’t seen them at all, not even the sold out. Just completely gone.

Congratulation! Wow, are you doing a special dinner, or excursion, or flowers or something? We have our 25th as well, but I haven’t really thought about doing an extra thing, the cruise is my gift! We are bringing young adults & are traveling with a huge group, so just going on HOTS in June is huge for us.

If you do have cancel/forfeit a person, check to see if you already “ pre-paid” for the gratuities. I have a similar situation where I am bringing my Niece and Nephew. One of them we felt might not be going anymore due to personal issues. I checked out all scenarios and it was mentioned that when I originally booked, we prepaid the daily gratuity for each of us. So, if I did proceed with cancelling one out, or doing the no show at pier scenario I at least did not pay the daily gratuity charge.

Hi, I purchased this about 4 months prior to my June 2019 HOTS cruise. Best price I got was $37....REMEMBER one price for TWO people to sit in. Right after I bought at this price they sold out.

Hello all, a group of us are going to Roatan and doing the BOSS Underwater excursion HOTS June 2019 the 8:30 am. The contacts are not responding, can anyone tell me where the BOSS drops us all off when we are done? On a pier and we arrange a taxi back, or they take us back to the ship? We are wanting to follow the BOSS with a Sloth excursion. The contacts at the Daniel Johnson Monkey & Sloth Hangout said they can pick us up as a group and take us to their Sloth hangout. I understand things can change, at this point we want to see if two excursions and lunch are doable for all of us &want an idea of the 8:30 to noon BOSS excursion, where the drop off for others in the past has been? Ship slated to be in port 8 to 5 and we need to account for the time change for this port.

@jaullram hi! Thanks for responding on “amenities”. Omg, we are kind of depending on the” cabana attendant” & “private locker” and “USB outlet” Calling RC now. Paid 549 for this Chill Island Cabana& expect what is noted as an amenities are provided. Mobility issues& was expecting to have water bottles filled, excetera as well as an extra gratuity for the personal service.

Hi Spursfreak21 , it’s my first cruise on HOTS in June. I was wondering also, where to keep the sea pass. For some reason women’s clothing does not always have pockets & when wearing a swimsuit....... I have a huge concern with the two young adults I am bringing to wear lanyards can it get caught ? also, I was wondering if the cruise line require you hands free for the slides and for zip Line?Or to have fantastic photos & have a lanyard hanging on your neck on every photo. So I did find a small stretchy zipper wrist thingythat is under $10. I am not a teckie & still need to buy a phone just for this cruise so I could not include a photo.
