  1. Just keep checking the cruise planner. You’ll see periodic sales and quickly learn the cheapest price. right now its about $69pp per day and includes drink gratuities. Pre-pandemic it was $59pp
  2. There will be a couple 30-60 minute slots per activity for the duration of the cruise. I think they were in both the morning and afternoon. We didn't use them at all. My son always uses the flowrider times but he wasnt with us this sailing. i would not buy the key for this benefit. I'm buying wifi anyways so the extra cost of the key gets me priority embarkation (Nice), chops grill lunch (Nice), reserved seats at shows (nice when at full capacity), priority debarkation with breakfast (really nice).
  3. On RC’s website Oasis deck plan that room accommodates 4. I believe it will be a double sofa not a Pullman.
  4. if you want a less crowded beach day, take a cab to little bay beach. There is a Divi hotel there with a nice restaurant. there is a small fee for chairs and umbrella, you can rent jet skis or paddle boards.
  5. i love breakfast at JR on the boardwalk. 2 egg, bacon, pan fries, outside...perfect!
  6. I'd be surprised if they didn't let her join. You are also assuming the kids will want to go to the teen club? My kids never went in there. They would rather hang out on the pool deck, flowrider, or roam the promanade and eat sorentos
  7. definitely not. Just an outdoor lot thats not covered.
  8. There is an outdoor lot where I have parked my RV in the past. Not sure how close it is to the RC terminal.
  9. 6 Disney, 5 Royal, and 1 Celebrity We love Royal for its price point and all the activities, especially if you have teens. I also love the Royal Drink packages (Deluxe and Refreshment), Disney just gouges you from day one on drinks. Food is better on Disney if you are eating in the complimentary venues Coco Cay kicks castaway cays butt in the private island category For service there is no comparison, Disney is the clear winner. If you want Disney like service I highly recommend Celebrity but not for kids.
  10. Im pretty sure they would not carry blood products because they are incredibly expensive and expire. The doctor on board would be able to perform minor surgeries if absolutely necessary. I assume the call for blood donors was precautionary in the event the surgery had to be performed on the ship. Probably something like a ruptured appendix.
  11. I've been on two cruises in the last month. no issues with CDC vaccine card or rapid antigen test proof (I printed it vs having on phone). We needed to show twice, once outside of terminal and once at check in. They were barely glanced at. Also the first person to look at your vaccine card and proof of negative test is a Port Agent outside the terminal. If there are issues there I would ask to speak with someone from RC.
  12. i think with the lower capacities luggage is arriving sooner. In the last month we sailed on Indy and Celebrity Summit and in both cases the luggage was there early. When at full capacity it definitely can be closer to dinner time.
  13. we were just on Indy and my wife and I carried 2 bottles each. We had 2 staterooms (one for the kids) but no one ever inquired. The worst case scenario is that they confiscate the extra bottles and give them to you when you disembark.
  14. I used it last month on Indy. The welcome lunch was Chops Grill Menu in the MDR for key guests. Love the Key
  15. We take a small opener on board with us in our luggage. Never had a problem.
  16. i think if you are a coffee lover like me the complimentary coffee will not be what you are looking for. Its ok but not great. i usually get an americano from cafe promenade. If you are not buying the deluxe beverage package i would recommend buying the refreshment package so you get all the great coffee you want.
  17. RC has already started allowing the nastiness again unfortunately...Celebrity casinos are smoke free I believe
  18. Just got off a 4 day cruise on Summit in the Retreat and we are hooked. book Summit again for November and Silhouette for Feb 23. My goal now is a 7 day on an Edge class. The thing that stood out from Royal the most was the food quality and the service. Both were 5 star resort quality. Even the buffet food was amazing. Luminae fast became our favorite restaurant on any ship we've been on. Highly recommend Celebrity for anyone looking for that next level experience.
  19. What are you looking for? That late in the day it may be too late to take a tour. take a cab to palm beach or eagle beach. and just chill We rented the off road buggies and did a self tour of the island, fun but rough and dirty. Aruba has amazing snorkeling. Enjoy
  20. There is so much to do, you're going to love it. Go see mama mia in the Theatre. Enjoy a glass of wine at Vintages in Central Park. Make sure you take in the aqua show at least once. Have a pre-dinner cocktail in the champagne bar which will go away when Allure gets amped (the robot bar has no personality). Eat outside at Chops in Central Park. Have breakfast at johnny rockets on the boardwalk (its included)...The list goes on and on...Most importantly have a great time!
  21. Depends on the size of your party. We have a family of 4 and have used uber the last few times. pre-pandemic this was around $125 but with the soring price of gas I have to assume it has gone up. Super convenient though. Never had an issue getting an uber post cruise either.
  22. have you logged into https://www.clubroyaleoffers.com/? I was just on independence and had an offer for a free ocean view upon arrival in my room (which I booked). I have been getting the free inside stateroom mailers almost weekly.
  23. There is a cruise planner sale on now, which ends today I believe. I doubt you will see it lower than $69
  24. I have never had any FCC, I opted for a full refund for my 1 cancelled cruise.
