Great info, looking forward to our cruises on the Liberty next summer.

If you are really worried about this you shouldn't be cruising. It's a non-issue.

This isn’t anything to “beware” about. The Cruise Planner locks down 48 hours ahead of embarking. This has been the case for a VERY long time and widely known. This is why you don’t wait until the last second to purchase something you want. There is literally no benefit to doing that.

What exactly is making it impossible? You just go to WJ or anywhere else that has cups of ice water and fill your water bottle with them.

When you want to fill your water bottle, use one of the new cups that’s there to fill your bottles. 

I guess it is better than Rhapsody getting a flyby right now given its position .

Doing back to backs gives us a good idea of how quickly they do the turn around after reaching a zero count.
In Bayonne on the Anthem and Liberty…after virtually all the other passengers have disembarked, we are escorted off the ship and through the CBP facial recognition screens (when they’re working) and then stand in line in the baggage hall. Sometimes there’s a straggler or two coming off the ship behind us.
Then, immediately after the zero count…which usually takes just a few minutes…we’re escorted back aboard.
General boarding begins shortly after. Usually around 10:30 and sometimes before.
There are times when there is a delay that keep us in the baggage hall for an extended period. Usually it’s a Coast Guard or Public Health inspection. Then all boarding is pushed back until the inspection is completed. Sometimes disembarkation can be delayed due to a late arrival time back to port…or an issue onboard…or with the port facilities or staffing. Anything can happen to cause a delay so it’s best to just expect it and hope for the best.

I'm sorry so many folks have such terrible cruise experiences, over and over.
Day after day, I constantly read folks hating everything about their cruise.  I'm sure glad these are not my experiences.🥰

If I wanted to pay that much for a cruise I would just go back to Disney.

Buying skin care products from a stranger in a foreign country on the street.  What could go wrong?

I really prefer the older, smaller ships. Better itineraries and Oasis Class seems SO SLOW! But then, I'm older too.
Radiance, Brilliance, Serenade, Explorer, Mariner.

Only been on 3 ships. Anthem #1, liberty 2 and adventure 3. Will be diamond on anthem Feb 25. I am in awe of the pinnacles. Will never reach that level. Too old, 73, but didn't start cruising till 70 and missed a couple years because of the plague. I do have odyssey booked mar 16, 2025.
