Fuzzywuzzy

Cruise lines and their security staff lets alot of stuff go that would get you ejected from many venues on shore. Alot. Throwing someone off the ship is an absolute last step when dealing with a disruptive passenger. You can be sure there is a plethora of evidence that supports their decision.

Here is what happened to us on Anthem. On day one MTD we were seated at a nice ocean view table for 2. Towards the end of our meal the head waiter came over and told us that if we wanted we could sit at that same table every day, walking right in and sitting down without waiting in the line. There was a specified time to be AIS and if we decided to dine elsewhere and didn't show they would give our table to someone else that evening. We found this superior to the DCL rotational dining system we were familiar with. The food was better too. Sorry, Mickey.

Magic. And technology? I am rather familiar with this system having used it in a government building a while back. On the Anthem last year I looked closely at the security screens that were visible to passengers and saw that they were using the same system. It does a ton of things that you can't imagine. I'm not saying they are monitoring when your cabin door opens and closes but this would be a simple task, especially if linked to a corridor monitor. I hope only security has command and control over this system and not housekeeping.

I am crossing my fingers and wishing you the best because as we all know, not all surprises are well received.

My wife doesn't drink (though she should being married to me), by choice and no other reason. If I could get the package just for me, hell yeah I would. But I'm never gonna see a drink package in my future. I can hold my own but don't necessarily want to drink enough for 2 every day to "break even".

Welcome. Don't be afraid to drop off your business card at GuestServices.....If an unexpected Freestyle disaster strikes that overwhelms them, you can probably get some nice OBC just for your technical advise alone. Or just enjoy your cruise and don't think about work. ?

Why cruise at all then? Eat at Golden Coral 7 days in a row, don't make your bed if you don't want to and put the trash on the curb once a week. Call it your vacation. Save even more money. I like the cruises I book and what comes with them.

One report stated that this was the inaugural Alaska cruise for the Royal Princess. Sad situation indeed.
