  1. Great feedback! Thanks everyone! At 150 is the beef for 2 the best pick?
  2. Hello- sorry if this same question has been posed a thousand times but I didn’t find anything that matched. Heading on Allure in September with some friends and we agreed to do a 3 night dining package. We plan to do Samba for sure (unless someone has some reason to avoid). Beyond that what is generally better? Chops, 150, hibachi, Giovanni’s? I feel like Matt has said chops is t the best steak. We are all meat eaters. Thanks for any advice!
  3. Let me know if you see this I am late responding. Meant to quote you on above post. Thanks
  4. Sorry daughter has been sick and crazy around here. I just saw this and likely too late. Hoping to get the model in the blue box. I think they are $50. We even asked customer service if we could buy knowing they had them and pay shipping and they said they had no way to ship. If you see this and would be willing to buy and ship please let me know. I will pay a mark up for you trouble!
  5. Hello community. We were just on liberty of the seas and they reported they were getting more ship models the very next cruise. Any chance someone is going on liberty soon and would be willing to buy a ship and send it to me? Obviously I would pay for ship, shipping and add some for your trouble. We have a model for every cruise we have been on and missing this is killing my wife hahaha. Thanks for reading!
  6. Thanks good points! To be honest I am not sure what I want from the agent which is why I am asking. The obc or discounted rate are obvious but one person mentioned support for booking hotels pre and post cruise or recommendations on excursions. My current experience is we go on website spend hours finding a room email the agent asking to book. Don’t really have much beyond that. What made me start to question if I am getting the most was my recent cancelation from Royal. My cruise was chartered and I had a Disney cruise planned first then was getting on the Royal. I would have hoped the agent would help with finding a replacement cruise. Instead we had to search all lines checking dates before and after to find we will get of Disney in Miami and drive to Fort Lauderdale to catch a cruise. I hoped for more than your cruise was canceled. The fact that she had booked the back to back she knew it was a bigger issue. I wondered if I expected to much and that is why I was asking
  7. Wow thank you for all the great responses! It does sound like I may be missing out on some support and perks. I would rather not discuss the agent or agency I use now but does anyone have recommendations? My person certainly does answer questions and responds but none of the above and beyond people have mentioned. Maybe we aren’t big enough spenders. Only done jr suite and balconies never a big suite. I know grass is always greener but I would be thrilled with some of the extras others are writing about.
  8. Hello- I know Matt always recommends a travel agent but my question is what should I expect. My first ever cruise I found an agency that matched internet price but gave me some onboard credit. Since then I have used the same person for around 8 bookings and have also used that person to book for friends and family traveling with us. Certainly we aren’t high rollers but have sent a decent flow toward the agent. We have never had an issue or complaint but also never had any onboard credit, reduced fairs, or any other perks. I have watched videos of one agency that gives you a welcome basket. Should I begin to expect something extra or am I living in a dream world? Also in my head I would sorta expect the agent to reach out occasionally to let us know of a deal or sale dates or something. Can people please write in a typical experience? Do you try out other agents or stick with one? Maybe other related things I am not asking. Thanks
  9. Yes even though they canceled my vacation they only gave 3 options to sail. If those didn’t work I don’t get any OBC
  10. We are going to get off first cruise in Miami and then found a second one leaving that day n Fort Lauderdale so will still do back to back just different cities. With that change we don’t even get the $50…. Oh well I guess
  11. Yeah we have been loyal to Royal but to make it work I would either need to get off first cruise and then drive from Miami to Fort Lauderdale to catch a different ship or try carnival. Maybe I should sleep on it.
  12. Thanks for the reply! The 100 would be a bit better haha. The issue with moving to other side of the back to back is work schedule. My wife needs to book time off way out.
  13. Hello looking for some insight if I am being unreasonable. My cruise for freedom in January has been chartered and if I change to a select few cruises I can get a whopping $50 cruise credit. To be honest when they choose to cancel my vacation I would expect a bit more than $50 cruise credit. Part of this is we planned a back to back so it messes up two cruises (not royals issue). Has this happened to others? What is the normal procedure?
  14. Thank you all for the info and kind offer!!! I have found a couple on eBay but people seem to be asking crazy sums! Good to know they are about 50 on board
