I also agree with @HeWhoWaits.  I just looked at my credit card statement.  I had to laugh at how many refunds I had received from RCCL because of the things I had purchased and then canceled when I found a better deal.  My husband almost had a heartache when he saw how long the list was.  He thought those were all the items I had purchased, not realizing that some of the items were repeats.
My advise: keep an eye for those discounts but go ahead and purchase them when you see them.  You can always cancel and repurchase when the price goes down.
WARNING: Don't go just by the % off.  Sometimes RCCL will increase the price but then offer the item at a bigger discount - which may be the same or more than the old price/discount.

Depending on the company / policy, some insurers sometimes will let you transfer the policy to a different/ similar trip if you cancel the original trip before a certain period.

    is this new?
Or was it just a large(r) Van Taxi that they contract with when taking one of the bigger groups out in the mornings.  Then individual taxi drivers on the way back (I'm sure they have there regulars).  I know I've had my return ride fairly quickly with them, but when driving past some of the other beach resort out that way I have seen long lines waiting for their taxi's.
Anyway i will give my THUMB's up to Maya Chen, as long as you go knowing the restroom facilities are typical non-resort Mexican and there may sea weed on the beaches (that applies to all beaches in that area, no exceptions).  Their service is just superb!  Repeat visit is always on the list for this resort.

@Aron_Rosson our last sailing (pre-covid, so mileage may vary now) we were frequently approached by staff offering BOGO 50% off for the 2nd guest (so effectively 25% off for each) for a couple of the restaurants, and by the 2nd to last day or so were offered 30% off each guest. As @Ampurp85mentioned, it will depend on how much availability they have. If the restaurant is pretty well booked up, there probably won't be any discount offered onboard.

Its funny how i started this cruise with a basic schoolboy error and i finished it with another..however this one could have been more serious.
I mentioned how we basically just queued for 3 hours at Copenhagen Airport on way home and only had time to pop into 1 shop in Duty Free. This shop was for myself as i saw a sweater i wanted much to my wifes dismay.
Due to being rushed i left my flight bag in the fitting room and did not notice until i actually sat down on the Aircraft. Realising what i had done i informed cabin crew straight away of the situation. I informed them that i wasnt worried about the bag, i didnt want flight delayed as it was my own fault and we were basically away to take off at any minute, i just wanted someone to get my bag and destroy the contents ( prescription medicine in it ) i explained that the last thing i wanted was a child finding pills and thinking they were sweets so if someone get find bag and just destroy. Ground crew came on and informed me that they couldnt get me my bag back and if i wanted it i would have to disembark and get a later flight. This wasnt what i asked so i informed ground crew that i wasnt delaying flight i just wanted someone to destroy contents of my bag
So i buckled up and waited for take off when suddenly air stewardess appears with my bag! To say i was shocked was an understatement and even more so when she told me she had talked with the pilot and informed him that my only concern was the bag was found and destroyed to prevent possible harm coming to others, the pilot was that unhappy with ground crew he actually got off plane and retrieved bag himself..BA flight 815 i salute you 👏

My wife has to eat gluten free and I have to say, cruising on Royal Caribbean has been the best vacation dining experience for her! She never needs to worry about feeling like she's experiencing a problem with cross contamination, having too little to choose from, or feeling dissatisfied by the experience.
The staff is always very accommodating to her needs throughout the entire ship. I have made several posts about it on this site whenever this subject comes up. Here are just a few posts I have made.
You will most likely only need to mention it the the MDR staff once, they will make a note of it and will then begin to bring you the NEXT evening's menu at the end of your meal so you can make choices ahead of time and have the kitchen modify items you would like to be gluten free. (They made my wife her own personal size apple pie twice!). If you frequent another location on ship, the staff may even remember you and make suggestions or alterations for you.
FYI: Sorrento's Pizza should have gluten free pizza upon request (and possibly Udi's cookies). Also, some items in display cases and in the Windjammer may already be marked gluten free on their signage. (Example below) Many ships have a large sign in the Wind Jammer that reads "Gluten-Free Corner", a designated section of the buffet that contains nothing but items that are gluten free.

The water park could very easily sell out. I would purchase now and if her friends don't want to go, you can cancel. If you cancel onboard, you'll get the refund as OBC towards your account statement, and if you don't spend it onboard, it should go back to your original form of payment post-debarkation.

We just finished a 5 day on Mariner of the Seas and Wow the Main Dining Room was spectacular!  The food was so good, steaks, salmon, deserts, everything. We didn't feel the need to dine at any of the specialty restaurants. Francis and Karan were on their game. Good Job Mariner!

It can be done but is a long drive, 2hrs each way. The ship is in port until late do its very doable, but a long day.
This is one where I would personally want to to a Royal Caribbean tour to avoid any issues with getting back in time.

I would go ahead and cancel anything you bought in the Cruise Planner now, and not wait for RC to cancel them automatically. I've found that I've gotten the refund(s) much quicker that way.

Just be advised that I have read other reviews where depending on the Ship, Time of Day, Users, etc. that Voom alone sometimes is only good for texting off ship and Voom & Stream are more reliable and stable for Facetime and making calls.

I was able to save 5% on my voom package, every little bit counts🙂. As for me, the other packages I ordered earlier stayed the same. So far happy with results and will continue to look for more discounts. On Symphony OTS in late Feb 2023.

Welcome to the boards! Your group sounds like a great fit for the Water Park Cabanas. You’ll have a place to lounge, park access for as little or as much time as you like, and a central location where everyone knows they can meet.

Your question depends upon where you are staying pre-cruise.  Funny, my spouse and I were discussing this a few days ago about how people plan Los Angeles trips without understanding the realities of Southern California.
Disneyland-If you are staying near Long Beach terminal, which is already about an hour drive from LAX, traveling from Long Beach to Anaheim is anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour.  Figure in parking and shuttling from the Disney parking lots, if you leave your hotel at 7am, you can expect to be at the Disney gates by 9am.
The same holds true for pretty much any major theme park in the area.
If I may, I suggest doing things like visiting the Getty Museum, which by my memory was free, and then doing a walking tour of the "Hollywood" area.  Lots of free things to do and some iconic foodie stops such as Pink's Hotdogs.
A baseball game is not a bad suggestion, but Dodger Stadium is on a hill and the only parking at the stadium goes up a narrow road up and down the hill.  Meaning, a baseball game is at least a 6 hour endeavor if it is a short game.
Many people have a misconception that Los Angeles encompasses Orange County, San Diego, the northern greater Los Angeles areas, etc.  All of these locations are a long commute.  Having lived in South Orange County, I tell you that for us, it is a CHORE to venture out even to Disneyland, which is only about 30 miles away.  It is easily a one hour drive each way.
San Diego Zoo from Los Angeles is easily a 3 hour drive each way.
If you have an idea of where you are staying, I can definitely tell you hot spots, trendy places, or local's secrets to experience.  Without knowing where you are staying, I can only say this: Plan on ONE activity a day and no more-or you will likely be disappointed.
