  1. The two carry some different and some similar benefits and depending on use case you may need neither, either, or both. We’re booked into a junior suite on Navigator in May and even without that would get priority embark/debark (MGM Mlife status) but still found the key benefits to be worth the cost for us on that sailing. Between Specialty lunch, WiFi, and priority flowrider times, the math worked out. It won’t be for everyone but isn’t taking away from others. Just as I don’t think that a genie holding seats in a show for @Lovetocruise2002 takes anything from others either. Stern class is really the closest anyone will get to an all inclusive sailing, but even with out Sky class sailing on Oasis next year, we’re still considering adding the key to that sailing as well.
  2. Sounds like you’re so much fun out. Maybe chef’s table is for you, Teppanyaki is meant to be fun. Not a very good way to make a new member feel welcome either. There’s room for that over on “that other message board” SLJ- I’m sure your kids will love it, make sure to get the Mochi for dessert.
  3. Once she learns to take photos at the “golden hour” all the other bots are screwed.
  4. She’ll just have to remind them that both of her recent live blogs have more views than @twangster
  5. It’s weird. The online version of the set sail pass shows the key logo, but in the Royal app is does not show. Appears it wasn’t programmed in so the art isn’t rendering.
  6. When we took ours there was a kids menu. Unfortunately I didn’t remember to take a picture of it. I remember it being just single meats rather than the combo options. Our daughter ordered one of the combos and still was only charged the kids price of 10$. If possible I’d definitely book ahead, Izumi on Harmony at least was nearly completely filled Up before the cruise even started. If you book for you and your wife there’s usually not a problem fitting the kids in. If you book for all four, they’ll refund the difference between the adult and child’s price. At least that’s how it was explained before, is that your understanding @Matt?
  7. I’d bet that they don’t. And If they do we’d have been dramatically underestimating a genies earning power. According to the British butler institute who places the genies they only make 2150$ a month. https://www.britishbutlerinstitute.com/recruitment/positions/royale-genie-2018-and-beyond/
  8. Would be interesting to know if RCCL has a set budget for the genies to spend on each guest in a SC cabin.
  9. Yoi never know, once one an around the world trip, a hotel in Hong Kong had checked out my social media presence and a solid chocolate airplane with edible runway was waiting for me in my room. That’s the difference between good and great service.
  10. Or maybe she’s following along to the blog and saw the earlier not about adding the much bigger ship model to your collection.
  11. The exception to the travel agent redemption is that if you use the Casino Royal team to book you can’t redeem an on board credit offer.
  12. Johnny Rockets was ok, we did see lots of lines there during busy times in the morning.
  13. We were on Harmony back in December and loved it, I’m sure yours will have a great time 1. Yes, the aqua theatre has two screens that show movies and glorified YouTube clips during the non show times. And as you’ve probably seen, there’s only a 50/50 chance at the show happening on a given night, so he flexible. 2. Definitely park cafe. Especially if the family is good without the traditional hot items (waffles, pancakes, eggs) as Park cafe is mainly sandwiches, cereal, pastries. 3. We had lots of luck right when they open, just line up a few minutes before. Don’t forget about the flowrider. Get signed up early and keep the wristband so the kids can just get in line right as they open. @Matt‘s going to become a flowrider expert in the next week. Port days are another great time for these activities 4. Even sometimes if we showed Up at 11am there were still chairs. Because the ship is so wide, there’s so much more space for chairs.
  14. We were rather disappointed with Michealle back in December. Very much had a corporate less fun vibe.
  15. I’d be to differ when it comes to elevators. Even early in the morning and afternoons we had serious elevator crowding problems.
  16. We actually cancelled our bottled water package a couple of days before boarding. Was easy enough to just pick up a 12 pack of Just Water (it comes in a tetra pack container rather than plastic bottles) and split it between the three backpacks we carried onboard.
  17. Score heading to Bolero’s and buying them, make sure you aren’t in a room where they are provided. We were in a junior suite on Harmony and didn’t think they’d be included. But when we got to our room there was a full set. So each of us had two.
  18. Of course a Lulubot wouldn’t tell us all the programming secrets.
  19. Sounds a lot like Celebrity Edge (minus the transatlantics) to me. Also, when I read Charles Branson, I read it as Charles Bronson. Which would be awesome if there was a cruise shipped named Death Wish. Would be way cooler than Richard Branson’s Scarlett Lady.
  20. Yeah wouldn’t it be great just to see all ATS2BRs all at once based on price? The current process of going all the way back to the beginning each time is a pain.
  21. Does anyone know of anywhere to search for broader queries other than the standard single sailings? Looking for a way to monitor star class bookings? All this watching @Lovetocruise2002 Live blog makes me want to take the jump
  22. That just means the programming is getting smarter. Must be that new AI algorithm.
  23. That DTW Delta terminal is one of my favorite in the country. Takes a bit of a hit since they retired the 747s. But that a 350-9 in front of you guys is a nice ride. That ones heading to Beijing.
