  1. I got the Key for our upcoming trip on Liberty in May. I was going to get Voom so the choice was pretty easy for me. When I first reserved it priority boarding wasn't offered. But now that it is it only makes this so much better. Can't wait.
  2. I am going on LoS in May and it is at $47. Same a Black Friday.
  3. My Deluxe package is currently offered at $47 PP/PN. This is the same price at Black Friday/Cyber Monday prices. The Deluxe with Voom is currently at $59 PP/PN where on Black Friday/Cyber Monday it was $55 PP/PN. It is cheaper to combine than to buy separate but I would see if it drops back down. I also bought The Key and Voom is included with that so I didn't need to add it to the Deluxe package.
  4. RCCL seems to have renamed the Deluxe Beverage Package today. It is now called the Deluxe Package. They did drop the price to the same as Black Friday for our sailing, Liberty in May. Kind of strange to change the name, but whatever.
  5. My photo package for all on USB is $249 for my May sailing on Liberty of the Seas.
  6. From what I can tell, the shorter the sailing the more valuable that The Key is. If I was on a 3 or four night sailing then The Key is a no brainer purchase. But as the number of nights goes up The Key loses a little bit of its value. I think that anything over a 7 nights would not be worth buying The Key.
  7. Black Friday was very interesting to me. We are cruising on Liberty in May. The Deluxe Beverage package was normally at $52 to $54. I got it for $47. I also got The Key for $19.99 when it is normally at $24.99. I also got a discount on all three excursions for Cozumel, Georgetown, and Falmouth.
  8. I have been lucky to be a lurker on the cruise planner. I was a little up in the air about the value of The Key. I think that I made the right call. I was able to get The Key at $19.99 PP/PN. I also got the Deluxe Beverage Package at $47 PP/PN. On Black Friday they had the Deluxe Beverage Package with Voom for $55 PP/PN but that is back up to $59 PP/PN. I am still lurking the Cruise Planner but more to help my Brother-in-Law since he just book the same cruise as us.
  9. Don't know about others but the casino free play option in the Cruise Planner is no longer there. The slots offer is gone also.
  10. Don't know about others but the casino free play option in the Cruise Planner is no longer there. The slots offer is gone also.
  11. I pulled the trigger on it. I read the review on it posted on this site and am happy I did.
  12. I just found some specials for casino and slots play also. There is a thread for that. Looks like so far the big discounts for me are the beverage packages and Voom. There are a few for excursions but nothing I haven't seen for weeks. The Key is also still 19.99 PP/PN.
  13. I just saw on my Cruise Planner that there is a casino free play. This is at three tiers. Tier one is buy $500 in casino free play chips and get a $25 bonus and a $5 scratch off ticket. Tier two is buy a $1000 casino free play and get $75 bonus and a $10 scratch off ticket. Tier three is buy $2000 in casino free play and get a $200 bonus and a $20 scratch off ticket. Has anyone gotten these? And are they worth it if you are going to gamble. They also have three tiers for the slots but and they run about on the same lines.
  14. They may not be advertising it but my Deluxe drink package dropped this morning for our sailing on Liberty of the Seas in May. I just got it for $47 PP/PN. It had been sitting at $50 PP/PN since we booked. I also pulled the trigger on getting The Key for the trip. We are newbies and are not in a suite so this might be a good option. They also dropped the Deluxe Drink Package with Voom Surf and Stream down to $55 PP/PN from %59 PP/PN. Just an FYI to all.
  15. I use a GoTenna Mesh when we go hiking. I have seen several reviews of it working for many different people on a cruise ship. I will be taking our when we sail on Liberty in May. If you go this route I would suggest that you get one more than needed to use as a bridge in your cabin. Many people have hung one out on the balcony and use it in bridge mode to make sure signals are getting around. https://www.gotenna.com/pages/mesh
  16. We are choosing to stay down in Galveston the night before. I was able to reserve the Four Points before the prices went up. If you want to go on the cheaper side then I agree with Stevendom57 about staying up in Clear Lake. I don't know about any shuttles though. Stevendom57, I believe that we are going on the same cruise. Liberty of the Seas on May 5th? This is my wife and I's second cruise. First was a Carnival out of Long Beach back in 2003.
  17. Under the Internet and More Tab. Also splashed on the Front of the Cruise Planner after I log in.
  18. @averbeck As you are a Diamond Plus I can understand that you wouldn't find value in this. My wife and I are newbies to cruising so we do not have these perks built in. And we are in a 2D category balcony room. We do not receive any of these perks without The Key.
  19. We are cruising on Liberty in May. Our Drink package is currently at $50pp/pd. I am waiting to see what Black Friday has to offer. I was also considering getting the Ultimate Drink Package with Voom for $59pp/pd. The kicker is I am waiting to see where the prices for The Key level out at. When it was first announced it was $24.99pp/pd but today they dropped it to $19.99pp/pd. This includes Voom. So I think I will be taxing the Credit Card a bit on Black Friday.
  20. I had commented this on Matt's post, "My wife and I are going to be on Liberty of the Seas in May. They are offering this on our sailing. So right now they are offering Voom Surf & Stream one device and the deluxe drink package for $59 per person/per day. The deluxe drink package alone is $50 per person/per day. Since I am getting the drink package for my wife and I the Voom package is only valued at $9 per person/per day. So the Voom is valued at $126. A Chops Grille lunch can be purchased for $21.99 per person on my Cruise Planner. So that is valued at $43.98. So those two items are a total value of $169.98. The cost of The Key in total is $349.86. So is carry on drop off service, private access to the attractions, priority tendering, and VIP seating worth $179.88? I will pass for now and wait to see if the price drops a bit. If I miss out from it selling out I won't be too disappointed." Today I saw that they had dropped the price to $19.95 per person per day for our sailing. Not sure if the price is right to pull the trigger. The cost in total is now $279.86 for the two of us. So the $109.98 is still on the steep side for me. I am personally hoping for a BOGO on Black Friday/Cyber Monday. If they do that I will definitely pull the trigger. What are everyone elses thoughts.
