SpeedNoodles got a reaction from SailorDave17 in Speciality Restaurant Packages - Reservation Times
Yes, you can. Go to any specialty restaurant (or even the main dining room might help, we've done it there before) right away when you board and you should be able to pick out a time more to your liking, assuming it's available. We've never had trouble.

SpeedNoodles got a reaction from Dulis in Ok hubby asked about testing positive
Yeah, I was wondering about this as well. Since Mr. Speednoodles tested positive last week, he may still test positive in January. Assuming I test negative, but wouldn't have been exposed for 2 months, I wouldn't feel as though I'd be exposing anyone to anything and could just no-show him.
Although going without him on the new ship with the Suite would kind of be a dick move, so I'd probably just cancel both of us.
But, double-double points. (Honey, I'm dong this FOR US).

SpeedNoodles reacted to _Quinn_ in Drink package
Thanks, @SpeedNoodles. We're sailing out of Baltimore this month, and this is only the second time I've bought the drink package. I was just counting on blind faith that it would show up on our SeaPasses, plus receipts if I needed to argue my case. Here's one more thing I don't have to worry about!

SpeedNoodles got a reaction from teddy in Finally Emerald, in suite amenity?
Huh. I just turned Emerald, but I'm not sure that making a phone call is worth it just to get a can of soda, lol.
Also "must be added 10 days prior to sailing". Does that mean "at least 10 days" or "no more than 10 days"?

SpeedNoodles reacted to JimnKathy in Did you know anyone with your booking number can cancel your cruise
From the perspective of me being a fellow RC Blog "friend", if it were me, I'd take the FCC and move on.
Wasting time, emotional energy and $$$ on something like this is a fools errand...all you've experienced is a bit of inconvenience...nobody died or suffered permanent injury.
All this will do is keep you in a state of perpetual anger and prevent you from enjoying your life while the legal process grinds away for a year or two...just ain't worth it in my humble opinion.
Good luck and Godspeed to you, Rita. 🙂

SpeedNoodles reacted to Montana21 in Cabana server tip recommendation
I had a big time at Coco Beach land cabanas (last weekend), there was two attendants for us (party of 4) and since my mom is a senior we left her in the cabana while we was in the water park and they took care of her, they came to the cabana every 20 minutes or so. Mom asked for coconut water and they surprise her with FRESH coconut water (Water inside the coconut). They did an AMAZING service! So I gave them $100 to each attendant ($200 total). Giving tip is sugestive based on what you think is a great service, for me, the service start on the "welcome to your cabana"! And remembering that those attendants were without job for long time.

You should be able to see your Set Sail Pass (both on the app and on the website). It should say DX on it.

Give me Midol over Tylenol any day. Acetaminophen AND caffeine? Sign. Me. Up.
But no, I have no idea if it's a rumor true.
Welcome to the forums!

SpeedNoodles reacted to CruizIan in Lost & Found after Debarkation
So I recently got off Mariner of the Seas on Nov 30th and was about 3 hours into the drive home when I realized that I did not have my wallet on me. While cruising I always leave my wallet in the safe and only take the cash or credit cards that I need onshore and my passport. So on debarkation morning wearing athletic shorts it fell out of my pocket in the chair in the main dining room. This was the first time I had been separated from my wallet in at least 15 years and so I was thoroughly panicked. My wife did a quick search for a Royal Caribbean lost and found and there is an email process that you go through and give them all of the details about the item and the ship and so forth.
Being the pessimist that I am I thought it was a fools errand but what the heck.
Thankfully for Mobile Apps and being able to turn off all of my cards immediately, and that I jokingly had given my Wife all of the cash from my casino trips telling her that she would get it from me one way or another so might as well hand it over. I was only really out the actual wallet.
2 Days post cruise and I received an email last night from Royal that the wallet has been found and it will be returned to me once the ship returns to port and they are able to process it, all I had to do was pay for shipping.
So if you ever forget/lose something this might be worth a try.

The Butchart Gardens in Victoria are beautiful. You walk through them once you get there, but you don't have to walk TO them 🙂

Never fly in the same day. It's just far too risky.

SpeedNoodles reacted to WAAAYTOOO in Ok hubby asked about testing positive
I was wondering the same thing. Unless you TELL them that the "no show" passenger tested positive (and that is why they aren't coming along) they would have no way to know the reason that they are no-showing. There could be any number of reasons why a person no-shows for a cruise. As long as those who DO go on the cruise test negative I don't see the problem. Of course, leaving your sick loved one at home to fend for himself could be a problem [divorce] when you get back, but as far as the cruise line knows, he's just not comin' !
