  1. It's possible that it will go up, but it seems that it will fluctuate up and down like that. BUT, they do often sell out, so you definitely risk missing out entirely.
  2. Thanks! There were 2 Grand Loft suites still available as of 3 days ago, but they're gone now, so I assume that the upgrade is, truly, unavailable. I like the room we have now (Owner's Suite), though, so we're good either way. We'll just miss out on Star Class.
  3. My weird status ("Upgrade Unavailable") on the Grand Loft suite still says that, but I can still cancel or modify it. Totally weird, lol.
  4. Ok, thanks. Yeah, your proctor must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. I've done a half dozen of these and have never had them blink an eye at the middle name issue. But at least I won't be thrown off and will know what to do if I get the same proctor now!! Thanks!
  5. Ok, but you said you had to update your account - which account did you have to update since you can't change it on the Navica app, you can't change your passport, DL, or birth certificate last minute?
  6. There isn't even a field for a middle name in my Navica app, so where do you "update" your account?
  7. I'm so sorry. I hope you find an even MORE FABULOUS sailing to make up for it, and that she has mild or no symptoms throughout.
  8. Welcome to the forums! What a great choice for a honeymoon adventure. A good place to start is here: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/getting-started Matt (the owner/administrator of this blog/forums) does live YouTube chats every Monday night (typically around 730pm EST) and on Facebook every Tuesday night (typically the same time). They are kept on Facebook and YouTube, so you can always go check some of them out. There's fantastic content there (just type in Royal Caribbean Blog). Brilliance is a beautiful ship, and it's not enormous, so the location of your room (as far as walking), isn't that significant unless there are physical issues. Here's Matt's latest blog regarding the Deluxe Beverage Package: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/royal-caribbean-beverage-package-costs-info-tips He also just posted a video about choosing a cabin, and he talks about room location (at 10:22 minutes into the video).
  9. This is our favorite place, pretty much anywhere we've ever visited.
  10. Agreed. I am confident that my package never made it to FedEx after they pulled a shipping label. I took your advice and filed a dispute with my HSA administrator since FedEx is pointing at EMed and EMed is pointing at FedEx.
  11. That's totally normal. Just because they let you bid doesn't mean there are actually any rooms available. Some will probably open up closer to sailing as people cancel due to positive covid tests or other reasons.
  12. Ron Hiller was just on the top deck sharing a live video with the Insiders! @Big Dawg Ron
  13. They will test you on the ship for a back-to-back. Visit Guest Services and they will arrange it for you.
  14. They will not 100% work on the ship, but will 100% annoy other people. Do not recommend.
  15. Can you not just check one of your names? That's how it works with cabanas, internet packages, etc.
  16. Congratulations! I have heard that they give people a choice.
  17. Mine are being weird. I have bids on a Grand Loft, an Owner's Loft, and a Royal Loft. Yesterday the Owner's and Royal Lofts showed "expired" and the Grand remained "pending". Today the Owner's and Royal Loft show "pending" and the Grand Loft shows "Upgrade Unavailable". Color me confused.
  18. Vaccinated people can, and do, still catch Covid, and everyone over the age of 12 is vaccinated on the ships, so vaccinated people are being isolated. However, the percentage on land far exceed those on the ships.
  19. If you are sailing before April 30, 2022, you are covered by Royal Caribbean if you test positive up to 14 days prior to sailing. Be sure to read all of the information in the Healthy Sail Protocols that they send you prior to cruising. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/if-i-test-positive-for-sars-cov-2-what-is-your-refund-policy-and-costs-covered
  20. Ignore the percent off, it's meaningless. The UDP is always less money if you buy it ahead of the time on the Cruise Planner. If you want it, buy it now (before it sells out, and it often does), and then just watch for price drops (actual price drops, not % - just look at the bottom-line price). Typically you'll find it at $25-29 per person per day plus gratuities.
  21. Welcome to the forums! Unvaccinated passengers need a PCR test. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/if-travel-with-an-unvaccinated-kid-under-12-how-will-our-experience-be
  22. I'm sure people will chime in, however you could start here! https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/forum/11-live-blogs/
  23. I believe it has to be a hard copy, but a printed medical record may serve as a hard copy? I'd jump on Facebook or Twitter messenger and send Royal Caribbean a direct message to see what they say (that way you have an actual record of what they tell you, as opposed to calling).
