  1. I will not be visiting Celebration Table, so I'm out. @AshleyDillo?
  2. Nice! There were many times we were unable to get onto an elevator on Deck 17 because so many people rode them up in order to ride them back down.
  3. I was looking forward to the cruise, of course, but over the past two days, that feeling has grown to absolute excitement. Reservations for entertainment finally opened up yesterday, so I'm all set there. And today, @Matt got on the ship and gave a live mini-tour of the ship. I'm half packed (since I never fully unpacked from my Harmony cruise), and the dog meals are all prepped and in the freezer. Seriously, gang, I'm ready to go. I have 6 more days of work left.
  4. It depends on the ship. On Harmony last time, it was the Schooner Bar. Often it's the pub. It's where we find the most engaging bartender. Who knows where we'll be found on Icon!
  5. Food quality absolutely varies from ship to ship, IME.
  6. It is always a good idea to make a reservation. Yes, you can just show up, but you will probably wait longer. MyTime Dining usually doesn't open up until 6:45, so you would not have access at 6pm.
  7. The app isn't always accurate this far out. I wouldn't sweat it.
  8. Ummmm, I will zip through the kids area and snap photos/videos and then never return. I am not a kid person at any level. How I survived working at the zoo is anyone's guess! But it's a rare animal that I don't fancy.
  9. I'm on it. I will represent the mods for this new crew member. He looks amazing, despite the extremely cliche of a name (come on, be at least a LITTLE creative). I'm a tad surprised they didn't get a breed that was a little less sheddy, but you can't beat the friendly nature of the breed.
  10. I will be braving the kiddo zone for pics and impressions. I have a few non-blog friends who also need the low down on tot town. I probably won't get into Adventure Ocean itself (don't worry - @Matt will no doubt cover it), but I'll get the more public areas.
  11. For you guys I MIGHT go inside to snap some photos. I'll need some liquid courage first. Does it look like you have to go through the WJ to get to The Hideaway? Awkward.
  12. I have booked an Oceanview Balcony (4D). I'm on Deck 8, behind the Trellis Bar. My initial goal was to get a suite, but the suites were just too much of a financial leap for me on this one. A Royal Up attempt to a Junior Suite was $3500! I rarely, if ever, step into the WJ - we may have to task someone with that one!
  13. Let's get this PARTY STARTED!!! That's right, for the FIRST TIME, your favorite (only?) Royal Caribbean Blog moderators (me, @AshleyDillo, and @Lovetocruise2002) are sailing on the same ship at the same time! This is going to be epi..... errrr... dare I say "ICONIC"? I am so excited for this sailing. There will be so many new things and so many old and new friends to spend time with. Each one of us will contribute in our own way. If there's something on the ship that YOU want us to document, ask a moderator!!!!!!! More to come!
  14. I was on Odyssey in January of 2022 and the service was bad back then, too. I did like the location, though. And, because the ship was at about 60-70% capacity, it was never crowded.
  15. What a treat to be able to "travel along" with you on this spectacular sailing. Thank you for sharing.
  16. We've been there several times on cruises. Victoria is beautiful and very walkable. We enjoy just walking into downtown and enjoying looking at the architecture, and having some lunch or dinner and a drink. There are often very entertaining street performers. There are several small, interesting museums. It may depend on what time you are in port and how long you stay. Butchart Gardens is very popular, and I understand spectacular. We enjoy the downtown so much that we've never ventured up there, though. Last time we took a whale-watching tour. We didn't see any whales, but the islands up there are beautiful and it was a great boat ride anyway.
  17. You would benefit by contacting a good travel agent to help you find appropriate accommodations for your group.
