Sailing on Oasis. We have DBP and 3 night dining. Spa is already booked. Aside from casino, general shopping, tipping when we choose to do so and possibly Playmakers, what else would we be spending money on (don't plan to go to any other upcharge restaurants).

Thanks to all your suggestions, we've booked the 3 night package. We're looking forward to trying all of the different dining options on the ship, but we're especially looking forward to Chops, Giovanni and 150 CP.

Crowds are def. a concern for us. We're sailing Oasis, and I have conflicting reports that there will be either 1 or 2 other ships there on the same day.

Just my wife and I, so price is about the same. What would you pick, Beach Club pass or Beach Bed?

Which area would you recommend for a beach bed? South Beach or Chill Island? Why? (They are currently the same cost)

Functional should be good. I'm sure the kids won't want to talk to us more than they have to...!

...do we still need to carry a Sea pass card, or do these replace the Sea pass card? ...I've read that they are $5. Do you purchase them ahead of the cruise or once you're on board? ...do they only function as a wearable credit card or do they also unlock your room? What other features do they have?

My wife and I are on Oasis in July. Our first cruise, WOOT! We're almost ready to pull the trigger on the 3 night dinning package (currently $99) but want to consider the unlimited dining (currently $179). We know for sure we want to do Chops, Giovanni and 150 Central Park. Not interested in Izumi. We'll probably check out Playmakers and possibly Portside BBQ, but don't expect to each much at either of these venues. Since we're first timers we're perfectly fine having meals in Windjammer, MDR, Solarium Bistro, and the other locals that are not up charges. Has anyone ever been in this position, purchased the 3 night dining and later wished they went with the unlimited?

We've already purchased at $61. A lot of the thoughts I had are being echoed here (mainly the prepayment and not worrying about the bill at the end, plus not having the feeling that if we end up with a drink we don't like we have to finish it) so we'll probably just keep it and watch for more discounts. Hopefully the interns will pop up again!

3 full sea days (plus embarkation), 3 port days but 1 of which we'll be staying on the ship.

That sounds so wrong when I say it. Cruise Planner is currently offering DDP at $61 per day. I've done the math multiple times, and keep coming out on the side I'm leaning to that day. This will be our first cruise so i don't have anything to compare. Anyone else been in this pickle?
