  1. I didn’t even think to try that! Thank you.
  2. Has anyone had any success with getting their child under age 13 access to the in-app messaging? I saw one comment somewhere else that guest services may be able to help once on board…wondering if that’s the case. We figure, worst case, we’ll log in as one of us parents on her phone so that she can message us from that account if need be.
  3. [email protected] I emailed requesting our friends in another cabin be seated with us each night. I had read the tip somewhere on reddit, just as a good idea to give them the opportunity to plan for a larger table. Got a response after a few weeks!
  4. Hey all! These message boards have been so helpful over the last year of planning two cruises. We're taking our kids on their first cruise soon! Adventure of the Seas November 3rd! We are booked in an ultra spacious cabin 8500, and from the very limited videos I've been able to find, I think it's an awesome fit. We have 10 year old twins and a 7 year old, and hey have already decided to rotate between the bunk beds and sofa bed to really get a feel for everything lol. Curious if anyone has stayed in this cabin! It looks like a different shape from most of the ultraspacious cabin layouts. Curious if anyone has any pro/cons to expect. I believe We are only 3 decks directly below the gym and spa, so we may take advantage of the showers up there when it's crunch time and we all need a bathroom. Thanks in advance for any thoughts! ?
  5. I know you asked for beaches, but I wanted to mention that we visted Daniel Johnson's Sloth hangout and LOVED it. Really a cool stop. You can visit the park for a small entry fee, or book a snorkeling and scenic tour package through them as well. The snorkeling guides were really down to earth and helpful. I was too afraid to hop into the water so they let me tag along for the boat ride and some nice conversation! :)
  6. We did Maya Chan beach. I had a massage, it was okay. The food there is fantastic. Traditional, homemade tacos with all kinds of toppings and sides. I still dream of that food. Like others said, the water and beach were a little mucky and full of sea weed. They work very hard to clean it, and the provide all kinds of floaty chairs and kayaks to make up for it. Staff and grounds: A+. Just not that picturesque turquoise beach day. ? Hope that’s helpful.
  7. You all are so awesome and helpful! 2 adjoining rooms it is. ?
  8. We are looking at the Adventure of the seas but I'm not sure which decks have these rooms available. We have been emailing with a Royal Caribbean planner and the exact room locations weren't included in her quotes.
  9. Hey there! We are planning a cruise with our three kiddos agea 10, 10, and 7. We have been given quotes for both the ultra spacious ocean view room and two adjoining ocean view rooms. For the most part, the pricing is about the same on both. I am wondering if anyone has any experinces with these rooms and can help us to decide between them. As far as going with two adjoining rooms, I am very intrigued by the idea of having two bathrooms available for our use, and the option to have some privacy from them in the evenings. However, I found a video and photos of the ultra spacious ocean view rooms, and they are truly spacious. I think it would feel like we had tons of room to move around in there versus the confinement of the two tiny rooms...even though there are two of them. Is this making any sense? Any insight would be very much appreciated! ? Oh and as an aside but not that important, does anyone know if we did book two adjoining rooms and put each of us adults in a room, would we be able to purchase only one alcohol package instead of being forced to purchase two? Thanks!!
