  1. Anyone out there please correct me if I’m wrong...but, I don’t think you can buy a soda pop (ie., Mountain Dew) in the “gift shop”. The other stuff you mentioned, yes, but at a pretty high mark-up.
  2. OMG! G&M is our favorite when we’re in the Baltimore area! They have the best crab cakes! They’re on par with my grandmother’s. I’m starting to salivate. ?
  3. True statement! I was born in Baltimore and spent many summers on the shore crabbing with my Poppop! My Mommom made the best crab cakes! Can’t replicate them. I’ve given up ordering them anywhere else...not worth it.
  4. We’ve got a cruise coming up in July on the Allure. My adult daughter insists we go to Quest. She did it on her last cruise and said it’s crazy, outrageous and lots of fun! Although I don’t plan on actively participating, I do plan on watching and laughing!
  5. How sweet! Happy Mother’s Day to you, as well! My upcoming cruise is a combination Anniversary, Christmas, Mother’s Day and Birthday (tomorrow) gift! LOL! Can’t wait until July!
  6. Another great sign! I’ll have to take and post pics of the signs my sis-in-law did!
  7. Another cute sign! Lots of talent on this blog!
  8. Love your magnet! So very cute! And your story made me chuckle! Thanks for sharing!
  9. My sis-in-law made signs for our two cabins; laminated with magnetic backing! That way, we don’t get lost when going to each other’s cabins! ?
  10. Enjoyed your pre-cruise overview...will be following along! Looking forward to it!
  11. We depart Ft. Lauderdale July 7, 2019 for Phillipsburg, St. Maarten; San Juan, Puerto Rico and Labadee, Haiti. Haven’t received anything regarding our sailing/itinerary. Anyone else doing the same cruise (same or different sailing) hear anything? Thanks! ?
  12. We’re sailing on her July 7th...keeping our fingers crossed! ?
  13. I’ve always used Meclizine. Can buy it over the counter (under $5 at Costco Phamacy). Start taking it the day prior to cruising and then twice a day on cruise (with breakfast and dinner). Doesn’t make me drowsy. Can even have a cocktail, with no adverse effects! Good luck and have fun!
  14. Happy (early) Anniversary to you, as well! Cruising is such a great way to celebrate! My hubby and I did a 10-year Anniversary Cruise way back when (we’re celebrating 34 years in November)!
  15. What a wonderful way to celebrate 25 years! Happy Anniversary to you both (in advance)! Have fun and enjoy!
  16. Enjoying your blog so far! Thanks so much for posting pics of your interior cabin! It’s bigger than I imagined and looks like plenty of storage for just the two of us! Have a wonderful week!
  17. Thanks! That would be fabulous! We’re in a Category 6v on Deck 8. (First time in an interior in a very, very long time.)
  18. Enjoy your cruise. Our first time on the Allure is in July and I can’t wait! We also booked an interior cabin to save some money. Look forward to seeing what your observations are regarding the ship!
  19. I enjoy reading about your adventures on the Allure! Your little munchkins are adorable!
  20. We’re sailing on the Allure in July...can’t wait to follow your blog! Enjoy your family cruise! Hope it’s filled with fun, relaxation and lots of good times!
  21. We’ll be on Allure in July and I’ll be hitting all the same places! Sooooo very excited!
  22. We’re on the same cruise! So looking forward to it. First time on Allure, haven’t sailed on RC for a very long time. Hope you enjoy your cruise! I know we will!
  23. That’s what we did! We were going to pay as we go for specialty coffees and bottled water, etc. then saw the Black Friday Sale. $17 for the Refreshment Package seemed like a no-brainer. We’ll use that much in bottled water alone! And if we must have an alcoholic drink, we’ll order the non-alcoholic version and just pay out-of-pocket for the shot to go in it! Happy Sailing everyone!
