I believe if you're paying in £ they don't add the 18% gratuities so it's a little closer in comparison in total.

I did not get off yesterday in Bimini. I could see it from the ship and it didn't look worthwhile to get off. I do not adventure solo so when I'm on a solo trip. If I get off I just walk around the immediate port area if there isn't an excursion that gives a generalized tour of the area with no water activities or beach breaks. If I wasn't solo I would have likely rented a golf cart and explored.
It was Caribbean night in the MDR and I still went despite the uninteresting menu. My table neighbors are all nice. My table is a 2-top in a row of other 2-tops so we're all super close like one big table. Fortunately this cruise everyone shows up early and there's less waiting around for ordering and food delivery. Makes the meal go faster.

App keeps prompting for this, I assume we can just ignore this if we have booked an airport transfer “excursion”.
Yes, just make sure that the luggage tags you get match the tag numbers on the departure schedule they will leave with the tags. There will be departure times specific for the excursions listed on that sheet. If you don't get the right luggage tags then speak with Guest Services to make sure they have you down for the departure excursion.

I haven’t booked a rental car in a while, so it’s interesting to see how much the price varies depending on the pickup and drop off locations.
Those one-way rental fees can be a lot!

Last time I was on Indy wasn't "high ranking" so I have never been to the CL, is it very small?
It's like the one on Mariner if you are familiar. Maybe 50 seats inside and there is an outside section as well. It's located up on Deck 14 so has the Viking Crown views.
It also is not a solid wall and there is noise bleed.

I wonder will the drink package carry-over to the Carnival owned establishments…
Nope. That's the drawback of losing Labadee..no included drinks or food.

I recentley booked an RCL cruise aboard the Radiance of ther Seas with a land tour for July. When I go into my account I only see the cruise portion and no land p[ortion, am I not looking in the right spot?
We had no way to pre-book excursions for the land tour when we did it..now this was 2014, but it's likely they haven't changed. You will be given the available excursion list when you go to the first "orientation" for the land tour.

Only “proof” I have is an instant Certificate.
Yeah I have 2 instant certs for the 800pt threshold and one for 1500 while only showing 1,015 points..so it doesn't quite add up. I won't call til closer to the expiration of the first certificate. Folks on the casino groups say they've been told to give it 30 days. The expiry dates should be proof enough of when they were earned.

They should have an egg drop competition..have them sign up for that.
Unfortunately Vision is one of the older ships and doesn't have the fun activities of the newer, larger ships that Royal advertises.

I believe I saw in another post that a few blog members and Matt will be on the May 20th-24th Freedom cruise.
If I was able, I would totally book this just to force the introduction!

I was boring today..got some work done. I took a break and checked out the Make A Wish auction on the pool deck. I heard it's only for April which is a shame because they were auctioning off some cruise planner items at a discount...like $100 for 2 for the full behind the scenes ship tour or a speciaty restaurant for 2 for $70. I would much rather pay that and have it go to Make A Wish.

Thank you for the suggestion! Renting a car hadn't even crossed my mind. This seems like it could be the least stressful option.
Avis/Budget is who I use. They have a location that's about 2 miles from the Miami port (SE 1st Avenue) There's a free shuttle but I always just take a Lyft because I'm impatient Then the drop-off is in Cape Canaveral (2.5 miles from Port Canaveral) and there's a shuttle available there as well.

I snuck off to my room after lunch...
And Oscar made it happen..my luggage was waiting in my room.
Other than a quick run to my muster station to check in, I just stayed holed up working in the cabin.
I have the same dinner time and table as last week but it isn't the same waitstaff. I saw on the app I had been assigned the same table and just assumed they would be here and I could tip for both cruises at the end...oops.

On this episode of Windjammer guests behaving badly...
I watched a lady just stand there at the wall next to the condiment pumps and eat her dessert..and then she just left and walked off.
This was after I watched another guest taste test stuff as she put it on her plate..just full on picking it off her plate with her hands.
