  1. We were lucky enough to get an Aft Facing Balcony for our Honeymoon in September travelling through the Norwegian Fjords. We feel like the pros far outweigh any cons, as the views should be breathtaking. Enjoy!
  2. Thank you so much! This is exactly what I was looking for. I did end up upgrading, I found out that I still had $100.00 OBC so it didnt cost me anything to upgrade. Thanks again!
  3. For those of you who were curious. We booked a Norwegian Fjords in September, I know it wasn't originally on our radar but it fit all "criteria". Thank you again for all the help!
  4. Hello All, Leaving Next Saturday for the Western Caribbean on Harmony. With the new sale that just came out I can upgrade from a Beach Bed to a Beach Bungalow for $88.00. There is just two of us. So, to anyone that has done both a bungalow and beach bed is it worth the extra $88.00 to "upgrade"? Thank you!
  5. Thanks for all the info everyone. We ultimately decided to book at nachi after looking at the port schedule ( 6 ships and possibly more than 16k guests ). We may book a snorkel trip from the people at nachi.
  6. As we near our upcoming cruise I have booked a few excursions as placeholders and figured I would come to the discussion boards to try and figure out what is the best option for snorkeling from a beach. We are traveling Harmony of the Seas Nov 3-10 to Labadee, Falmouth, and Cozumel. We are in our late 20's (27/28) without children. So far we have booked a beach bed on Labadee, and the Playa Mia Deluxe Beach Break booked through RC. We don't plan to leave the ship while in the port of Falmouth, haven't had great luck in Jamaica So, my question is which is better for snorkeling from the beach Labadee or Cozumel? I am willing to cancel the Playa Mia excursion to go with a different AI or even Non AI, such as Nachi Mr. Sanchos or Playa Palancar, but we want to be able to have decent snorkeling. Additionally, with us having no children is going to Playa Mia a mistake as we would like a somewhat quiet beach day. Thank you all in advance!
  7. @twangster check out Bissell Brothers Brewery as you are exploring Portland. It will not disappoint. ?
  8. Thank you all for the input! Really appreciate it. Now the time comes to make a decision. Ugh, so tough!
  9. Thank you for the input, it is much appreciated!
  10. Hello All, I have been reading the blog for a few months and its really helped me with tips and tricks for my upcoming Cruise in Nov (Harmony of the Seas). So, Thank you to all who have contributed to these boards and Matt the site has been a big help! My Fiance and I are trying to plan a honeymoon for next Sept/Oct (Getting married in April but work contracts dictate Vacation time starting in July). I think we have finally decided on taking a cruise, neither of us are new to cruising or RCCL (Both C&A Platinum). We are trying to figure out where to Cruise, we think we have it narrowed down to 2 places; Mediterranean or Alaska out of Seattle RT. We are both in our late 20's and like a little bit of adventure with equal parts R&R. We are not really the beach going type so we figured these two locations would fit our needs/wants. I have read a few Live Blogs for both and am still have a tough time deciding. Any Pro's Cons for either is appreciated. Thank you all in advance!
