    Yeah she is "down under".

I am sure she is getting a lot of questions and will have quite a bit to do when she gets back to "work".

Yeah since it seems that this sailing may be in jeopardy. It is no longer available to book and there is talk about it going into drydock.
I do not want to cancel this. I will wait for RCL to do it.   For a contingency plan I want to book a refundable cruise on Oasis for the Dec 14 sailing. Then we will wait and see what happens.

I think I read you use Michelle? I do too and she's away just now but back tomorrow, I think. I was thinking about emailing her but won't bother now since you've done it.

🙂 We spend thousands on a cruise .... and get so emotional over 98 cents worth of cookies ...  🙂

🙂 Along the same lines .... RC spends millions running a ship every day .... yet they begrudge the most loyal customers a  Budwiser that cost 10 cents a can in bulk .... go figure.

Sailed on Anthem the second week of February, just after they started the new menu. They seemed to have temperature-control issues. Had French Onion Soup the second evening. Burned my tongue and roof of my mouth on it, so it was hard to enjoy the food for the next several days. Apparently, the crock bowl and the complete cheese cover held the boiling hot heat in. The head of dinning came to my table and told me they must make it extra hot or they are criticized by the Europeans… They should warn us uncultured Americans before we scald ourselves. French Onion Soup is on the menu several times during the week.

I was informed that now you can order steak and prime rib ONLY either medium rare or medium well. The trouble is that the medium rare was mushy and bloody and extra rare every time. Ate a special lunch in Wonderland also and the steak was supposed to come from Chops. Same problem. Either their thermometers are wrong on the Anthem or the chef doesn’t know the correct temperature to prepare medium rare. The roast beef was cooked properly, however, and the seafood dishes were all very good.

You could take a look at the menus on the current Enchantment sailing in the app. That's an 8-night sailing and would at least give you a rough idea, although as @Ampurp85 says they can change from sailing to sailing. I remember reading somewhere that on sailings to the Caribbean and/or Mexico, supposedly Caribbean night is should be on the day of your first Caribbean port of call and Mexican night on the day of your first call in Mexico. Whether that is actually happening, I can't say.

Booked through Next Cruise as well for the same reasons. Reached out to TA, she was not aware but checked and saw new bookings were not available.
    Waiting game now...

Well crap!!...I have the 12/7/24 sailing booked and I did it thru next cruise.
I booked it specifically for those dates and itinerary.
It is still showing on my cruise planner as active. Nothing from my TA as of yet.

Umm...yeah that could make you feel better but it will not really hydrate you more. At least that is not how we were taught in chemistry and med school. But then again what do I know??!!
If it makes you feel better then you do you. 🙂

Another good option for late night is to take an extra dessert or three (from MDR or picked up at Windjammer) back to your room. Other options that don't require refrigeration or reheating are also acceptable, but go for the extra desserts. You're on vacation.

I don't like it but not for the reason you think.
I think it is really crappy that they decrease the service to the guests but up the rooms that the attendant has to service, so it is more work for them.

We got to our port in Dec early like 10:30 and were only Platinum then but in a JS. There was no line and we were escorted to check in and then straight to the suite lounge.
There was about 35-40 others just hanging out waiting to board. They had drinks like coffee and water, cookies and brownies for us while we waited. Only had to sit there for about 20-30 min and then they started boarding and the line went very quick 10-15 min and we were on board. Very smooth and no anxiety at all.

Yes it may for "YOU" but if you have others in the room then they all have to have a package... that is the extra cost you have to consider as well.

Early/Late  doesn't matter to me.  What I have done is on Day 1 introduce my wife and myself to the Cabin Steward/ess and Emphasize that we are o.k. with THEM picking their schedule and to let them know that we have Prepaid Gratuities and will be o.k. with their choice.
We think that the prepaid gratuities cover basic room service for the Steward/ess and the behind the scenes employees in housekeeping.  We then determine if we feel our Steward/ess puts in a little extra effort  even if it is a cheerful good morning, how was your day, or you can just see the "Hustle" they put into their job.
That is when we give something extra to say "Thank you,  we noticed your efforts and appreciate you."
I also consider my Prepaid Gratuities as part of the cost of the cruise and understand why it is this way.  The amount we pay in "Gratuities" is not considered as income to RCL and is not a payroll expense thus RCL saves in Taxes by doing this instead of just removing these gratuities and rolling the cost into you Cruise fare.

I have never purchased the deluxe drink package not because I would not be able to get value out of it, it was because I would have to purchase it for my wife as well and she does not drink that much. Even if I were to call Royal and then just get the refreshment package for her, she is still not going to get the value out of it as she only drinks water, tea and black coffee.
I would just get the refreshment package for me and then get alcohol ala cart. It has saved me hundreds on all my sailings. Now that we are Diamond, we get 4 alcohol dinks per day. She will likely only use 2 per day if that. I will get her other 2 weeee!!
