ok less than 6 months to go now!!

Me too, I checked again last night and found no change whatsoever regarding the absence of information on the website. For well over a month now my travel agent has been holding open to identically sized groups one on this original sailing and one on the Explorer departure two days earlier out of Miami I am about to tell him to Nuke this one so that I can go with the Explorer group and finally be able to tell my actor invitees when and where we're going it has been driving me crazy that I have a bunch of people I need to put official invitations out to so they can clear their work calendars and have been unable to do so because Royal Caribbean refuses to pull their finger out and do something about this obvious situation. I really would prefer to go with freedom as I like the ship a lot better but even though we've done Explorer two times before and wanted to go to a newer larger class ship the itinerary is actually much better on the Explorer so in the end I think I may end up happier there. 

Still nothing on this...I have 2 back up cruises booked for this. I wonder how long they will wait to tell us that this is cancelled so that we can move on. 

I know what you mean - on Anthem, DH wanted to do Jamie's, so I picked the night I thought was going to be Mexican - nothing really appealed - and closer to our departure, the menu changed - Mexican disappeared, and British night was there instead! I definitely wanted that, so cancelled and re-ordered Jamie's so that we went in Italian night instead. Only problem was that we had MTD, and when I had to pick a time for the night we originally had Jamie's, it was impossible to get something before 9pm, since we were only a couple of weeks out. 

I'm probably in the minority but my biggest drawback is the tub on Oasis class.   I prefer a shower.
I've only had the split/separate tub and shower on Odyssey (Quantum clas)...which was amazing!

Oh I know what the menu options are...its just I don't know what theme is going to be on which days... I am trying to plan my speciality dining and I know which themes I want to skip I just don't know what days those are going to be.

anything is worth what someone else is willing to pay for.
That being said, is it the best food? no...is it the best entertainment? no...However I enjoy it. I have been all over the world and there are some things that I enjoy that most don't. Was it worth it for me ...sure I am on vacation and I like to splurge on things I don't normally do, eat, or see.
Will it be worth it for you?? no way to tell, we are not you.
Enjoy yourself, do things you don't normally do. Life is all about the experience!!

I never get the deluxe beverage package... I just get the refreshment package so I get everything but alcohol for about $20 per day and just buy the booze ala cart. Saves a lot of $$ that way... even more so now that the wife and I are Diamond.

Also to avoid more children is to take longer cruises...At least 7 days. We had the worst encounter with children on 4 day cruise around the same time of year (after 
Thanksgiving and before Christmas) than we did on 7 day cruises.

Don't wait to book it will only get more and more expensive.
Book as early as you can for as far out as you can to get the best pricing possible.
