  1. The waiters at the MDR might think I'm just being playful with the silverware. ?
  2. I saw one waiter serving the dish OVER the guest’s head... I was shocked!
  3. Just saying... I was trying to post this on Royal’s FB Page but it won’t let me.
  4. They made a mistake in July and they owned it. Now this new issue is not even a mistake, it is a deliberate action on their part to take away what's on a contract they agreed to when guests made their bookings. I so want to make a sign that says, "ROYAL, THIS ROUND'S ON YOU TOO!!!"
  5. If previous guests were not using the features, that means Royal made some "savings" in the past. All the more reason why they should honor their commitments to those who have booked with the perks in place. How much would it cost them to use some more of that soda syrup and buns and hotdogs just to keep their target market happy?
  6. That’s exactly what I do. I call it a “Water Run” where I round up all the bars onboard for a water stash.
  7. I also wanted to do this, but I haven't tried it yet. I brought a sprayer bottle with me before but I was too lazy to "faux-steam" my clothes. I've read that the dryers in the room are low power ones. You might want to bring your own hair dryer if you wanted to try this technique.
  8. If I may add... sharing drink packages will have a ripple effect on future actions by Royal. One such action is requiring all drinking age guests in a stateroom to get the Deluxe package.
  9. They don’t even scan/swipe your SeaPass card for water. They just check to see if you have the package and hand you a bottle (or two) of water.
  10. The drink packages are not for sharing. For the Refreshment Package, you don't need to buy for everyone in the room, unlike with the Deluxe Beverage Package.
  11. $24 a day seems to be the price for 1 DEVICE, not 4. EDIT: Ooops ... I was wrong ... I paid $13.99/day on the Ovation
  12. I know we're all different. I'm one type of cruiser who is not into water attractions. I don't like swimming pools, hot tubs (especially crowded hot tubs), water parks, etc. I lived 20 years by the beach. So Coco Cay doesn't excite me too much. I was with 7 other families in June on the Mariner. The only reason why I got off the ship in Coco Cay was to spend some time with these families. I was back on the ship after an hour. So two stops at Coco Cay might be too much for that type of cruiser like me.
  13. I've never been a fan of perks-based promos. I prefer a la carte options. Instead of: Boardwalk/Central Park View Room + 2 drink packages + 4 meals at Johnny Rockets - $XXX I prefer: Boardwalk/Central Park View Room $YYY 2 drink packages - $ZZZ Johnny Rockets meal - $WWW They can offer bundles if they want. But perks? That gives the illusion that they're giving you something for free when you're actually paying for it!
  14. How were you able to use a friend's crew discount? I have friends working on several cruise lines.
  15. How is the reception to this double dip at Coco Cay so far? Do cruisers like it? Do they miss the sea day?
  16. I did not realize Voldemort was into cruising. EDIT: @AshleyDillo, can you please PM me about this website. I do not want to wander off into the "elephant graveyard".
  17. Has somebody done the math for how much the perks cost in total?
  18. I don't think this could be done. You might just want to bring your own playlist for the music that you like.
  19. Not language related, but watch out for pickpockets.
  20. Here is a stateroom on the other side - 10526. It's on the Allure but I already checked, it's in the same location on the Symphony. You will see the "obstruction" at the 0:33 mark.
  21. I'm thinking between this message board and the FB group for the Inaugural, we will be getting a lot of tips and heads up for these Cruise Planner sales. I'm hoping nobody hides this information from us... ha ha
  22. So we're not even benefitting from Black Friday 2019 sales, if any?
  23. Here is a room at the same location on the Allure https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/stateroom-details.php?ship=Allure-of-the-Seas&cabin=10130
