    Hey Everyone,
Hope you are all well.  Was just on the Cruise Planner and noticed a BOGO 2 night Dining Package for $39.30CAD for my sailing on Indy - March 4-9, 2019...I had originally purchased a First Night Done Right package for $26.20CAD, but this looks like a way better deal - FYI

I will chime in with my personal experience.  On my first cruise (a 4 night Bahamas cruise), I took dramamine non-drowsy every day...knowing ahead of time that I tend to get motion sick...and I didn't want to be sick on the cruise.  I was MISERABLE the whole time...not with motion-sickness, but just generally feeling "off".  I did NOT enjoy that cruise.  I just didn't feel like myself.  I even told my hubby and the others we were with that when i tell them, somewhere down the road, "Oh, it wasn't THAT bad...we can go on another cruise..." I want them to remind me how I felt on that cruise.
So two years later (LOL) last December...hubby and i went on another cruise (6-night Western Caribbean) ONLY after I did some research...I read somewhere that taking the non-drowsy dramamine might have been the whole problem.  So, on our second cruise I didn't take it each day.  I just went and packed some to take with me "just in case".  The only time I ended up feeling sick was after an excursion day in port where we rode a charter bus all day.  That evening, back on the ship, I was a bit sea sick...So, i took dramamine and was perfectly fine the next morning.
We're cruising again 12/6-12/10...Let's see how this goes.

We were on Indy for a 14 night cruise in August, I too read all of the reviews and started to panic about the overcrowding but common sense prevailed and as it was our first cruise I boarded with both a bit of apprehension and tried to have an open mind trying not to think too much about the bad reviews.  By day 3 we had already been to next cruise and booked another one for next year as we were enjoying ourselves so much.  I can highly recommend this ship it seems to suit all ages and you will find all of the quiet spots and when to go where. It was. Amazing to see how all of the bars emptied just before the late dining began.  Our cruise was fully booked so expected the worse and was pleasantly surprised

I have read very similar things to what you are referring to and I am not worried.  In fact, I have two cruises booked on Indy already.  You will find that those who like to complain will always find something to complain about.  And I have feeling that a lot of those "bad" reviews are coming from those who were devoted to Indy before her revitalization.  There are quite a few of those out there.  Point is, you will never know until you try it.  Don't just take someone else's word for it.  And read all reviews with a grain of salt.  For all the bad ones I have read post revitalization, I have also read many good ones.  I personally would not cancel over that.  By the way, welcome to the message boards!

There hasn't been too much info out on Indy since the refurb.  I think because she has been sailing in Europe.  There are 2 really good live blogs by @hayley_bopp and @twangster.  Hayley's was done after the refurb and Twangster's before.  Have a read.  I am going in December (likely blogging) and @melski94 is sailing in November so be sure to stick around because feedback is coming.
