  1. Thanks everyone.....for those of you that drive yourself and park there, is it convenient to the boarding area, or is it a long walk, dragging all your belongings? And do you need reservations to park there?
  2. Cruising on Anthem in April. What would be the earliest you are allowed to get on board? I believe I read somewhere that staterooms would be available around 1 PM.
  3. Three years ago I took a shore excursion to Mr Sanchos on Cozumel. Its not a hotel, but there was a great beach, nice swim up pool and all inclusive food and drink. http://www.mrsanchos.com/mr-sanchos-all-inclusive-day-pass1.html
  4. Well, I was counting Saturday to Saturday....8 days, 7 nights.
  5. Is that $20 a day? So $160 for a 7 night cruise?
  6. Thanks so much! I appreciate your replies and hopefully there will be a really good price on Black Friday! ?
  7. My cruise is in April, 2019. I have been watching drink packages and shore excursions. After seeing numerous posts about buying a drink package at a good rate, then possibly canceling and buying again at a better rate, I booked the drink package at BOGO 1/2 off. The cost still was over $800 which I dont mind paying because I will use it. So I am still watching the price and I see the purchased one on my cruise planner. IF the price goes down, how difficult is it to rebook and how do you go about it? I dont find the website very friendly and am afraid that I will miss out on a better deal because I will not be able to book the new price. IF I see a better price, do I just cancel the purchased one and rebook immediately? Will the website allow me to do that? THANKS!
  8. Thanks so much for your "live" report. I am enjoying it and looking forward to the rest!
  9. My first cruise on Royal Caribbean is not until April. I have been watching the price on the deluxe beverage package. Every time I checked, it has been showing around $52 a day. This morning I logged in and it came up as buy one, get one 50% off. So I said wow, that’s a great deal I’ll book it now. Then when I went to book, the total price still came out to over $800, for 2 people, for the eight day cruise. What did they do, jack up the price, that offer it as a discount? Here I thought it would be around $600 and it still coming out to the same price that I have seen, before the supposed buy one get one 50% off sale.......?..
  10. I just spoke with my pharmacist and doctors office. There IS a generic and THAT is what is not available. My pharmacist does have the regular one in stock and said that it is not on back order anymore. I live in New Jersey about an hour south of New York City) The problem is that most insurance will not pay for the regular because of the generic being out there.and that the regular is expensive. I am waiting to hear back from the pharmacy to see if my insurance will cover it. I know they did 2 years ago.
  11. Thanks for the information on the patch. I will try to get my dr and pharmacist to order now.
  12. Thanks so much. I will tell them to call and he will be fine as he can drink a lot of soda!
  13. I suffer horrible motion sickness and for years refused to go on a cruise because of it. I finally bit the bullet two years ago and tried a cruise for the first time. I had scopolamine patch behind my ear, motion bands on my wrists and use one half of a Bonine tablet the first two days. By the third day I was feeling fine and the ear patch was coming off, so I never put a new one on. Didn't use Bonine again and just kept my wrist bands on. I was so pleasantly surprised that I felt no motion sicknes at all. The cruise was all I had hoped for as far as not being sick, so I am going on another one!
  14. I have been to some hotels in the Caribbean that also require a card in a slot to use the electricity. I now always keep an old key card in my travel bag for this purpose.
  15. Speaking of drink packages, has anyone ever heard of a person being able to buy the package, while their spouse, in the same cabin does not. One couple traveling with us is a wife who enjoys the full package, while the husband simply does not drink alcohol at all. Is there ever any exception, perhaps if the non drinking spouse obtains some sort of medical note or something. A doctors note due to health reasons?????? I highly doubt it, but I told them I would ask here. THANKS!
