  1. @JBC1 you need to complete online checkin for each cruise
  2. I had cancelled a cruise myself because I could no longer go on the cruise so I got a 100% FCC & I also had $325 OBC applied on my account that I got from royal as part of a promotion when I booked the cruise that their was $271 OBC offered with that promotion and then because royal was gonna discontinue the eat....play....discover program for central park/boardwalk balcony rooms, but in September 2019, & my cruise was scheduled for April 2020 so when I received that email I selected that I wanted to keep the eat, play, discover perks and then I called royal on that same day and said that I wanted to keep the eat discover play perks so I had told the representative had issued me another $50 in OBC which added up to $325 in OBC was not reissued to me when I cancelled the cruise & I don’t know why it was not reissued from when I cancelled my cruise that was scheduled in April 2020.
  3. If you make cruise planner purchases for a cruise that Royal cancelled because of COVID-19 then the amount of OBC that is owed to you, then you should be able to add the amount of OBC account and then use the OBC for whatever you would like to purchase in the cruise planner before your cruise.
  4. All staterooms for each category & type of room that is on all of Royal’s Ships do have Pullman beds which is available for 3 or 4 people who is sleeping in the same room.
  5. @MattWhich company would you recommend that has the best & cheapest travel insurance that includes cancel for any reason, lost luggage, delayed luggage, medical evacuation, hospital stays, visits to the onboard medical center, necessary & purchases onboard the cruise ship/in ports of call because of lost or delayed luggage.
  6. I have never purchased travel insurance since I started cruising the summer of 2013, but I am starting to think that I should purchase travel insurance! Do you think that I should purchase travel insurance for my cruise on Odyssey in December 2021 because I am traveling with a senior citizen who I don’t think has any problems when traveling on cruise ships that requires her to go to the medical center. Also I am thinking about purchasing travel insurance is that my mother & I both have a “pre-existing” condition which is manageable by taking medication! In your opinion should I purchase travel insurance? Or if you or someone on your cruise reservation had “pre-existing” conditions that is manageable by taking medications would you purchase travel insurance? If you do think that I should purchase travel insurance from should I purchase the cruise line travel insurance or is there any other company that sells travel insurance who has lots of clientele and has a very high excellent reviews and ratings that you think I should use? ALL THOUGHTS ABOUT VARIOUS TRAVEL INSURANCE COMPANIES, & THE CRUISE LINE TRAVEL INSURANCE IS WELCOME.
  7. I have booked a cruise on Odyssey for December 2021 and selected a stateroom and I got an invoice and i have paid for the cruise & @ time of booking I selected to prepay for gratuities, so then I had paid with the FCC’c that was issued to my mother & I so now there is nothing left on either of our FCC’s & all I have to pay in cash is part of the taxes & fees or 1/2 of the gratuities. And the cruise shows up in my cruise planner now but when I first booked the cruise it took a few days after booking to show up in my cp
  8. Why would you not want to bring your kids on the cruise with you?
  9. REMOVE MY cruise on 11/28/202 on Odyssey & REPLACE WITH 12/12/21 cruise on Odyssey
  10. I called royal Caribbean and had them apply my FCC to my Odyssey Cruise on 12/12/21 and I was told that since I would have a remaining balance on my FCC and that I would be issued a new FCC with the remaining balance after my November 2021 cruise is completed that the new FCC WOULD BE VALID FOR 1 YEAR AFFER THE NEW FCC WITH THE REMAINING BALANCE IS ISSUED. Hope that helps and is the answer that you were hopping for!
  11. I got my first passport when i was 16 years old and my mother had filled out the papers for her passport on the same day that I Had filled out the papers for my very first passport and I only had my mother’s permission but I did not have my father’s permission, so my mother and when we applied for our passports in person my mom & I each had to bring our birth certificates when to show that we are related.
  12. I have cruises to Phillipsburg, St.Maarten on an Oasis class ship and there was no need to tender because she fit in the dock, so Quantum class ships are smaller than the Oasis class ships and will fit in the dock @ phillipsburg, St.Maarten
  13. Royal will email you an FCC for you, your son, & your wife. The amount of the FCC will be 125% of the total of £3800 which you had paid for the 3 of you to go on the cruise, so the amount of the FCC for each person will be £1583 each.
  14. Jr suites are considered sea class. And if you did not receive a I’m # then you were probably upgraded from an Oceanview Balcony to a Junior Suite. if you were not Upgraded to a Junior suite & your set sail pass still says that your in the sea class category of rooms then on embarkation day you could use the suites only line to walk through the security area faster then the security line for non-suite guest & you can also use the suites only line to checkin @ the cruise terminal on embarkation day, & suites are one of the first 3 boarding groups that is called to board the ship before everyone else.
  15. Please remove my cruise on Independence and Mariner. Add odyssey of the seas November 28th, 2021.
  16. They could have quoted you a cruise total price that also includes a refundable deposit and you could have quoted yourself a total cruise price that may not have included a refundable deposit and vacation protection. Both vacation protection and Refundable deposits have an additional cost which increases the total cost of the cruise & is the cause of the price increase of your total cruise price.
  17. Also covers the gratuities if you did not pre-pay for the gratuities before you went on the cruise.
  18. Plus if you add her & she is a no show at that pier you will get to cruise by yourself in a cabin that sleeps 2. You will also get 2x points per night for cruising solo in an interior, Oceanview, or Balcony, & 3x points for sailing solo in a suite.
  19. To remove/add add guest to/from an already booked reservation you would call your TA if that is how you booked or you could call Royal if you made a direct booking over the phone or on royal’s website.
  20. If you booked with a refundable deposit Or purchased travel insurance that allows you to cancel for any reason then I would either cancel the cruise or change the sailing date of the cruise until after your wife has completely recovered from the reversal surgery.
  21. Could take 30+ days to get taxes and port fees refunded to your form of payment.
  22. You should save the FCC emails because they contain the reservation # of the cruise that was cancelled because that is how the Royal Caribbean representative will apply the FCC to your new cruise reservation and has the same names on the new reservation and the names are the same as the names that the FCC was issued was issued under.
  23. They do not email you when have been issued a refund back to your debit card/credit card but you will receive an email stating that your cruise & cruise planner purchases has been cancelled. YOU WILL RECEIVE A SEPARATE EMAIL CONTAINING YOUR FCC AMOUNT & EACH PERSONS INDIVIDUAL FCC NUMBER ON THE CERTIFICATE & THE RESERVATION NUMBER FOR THE CRUISE THAT WAS CANCELLED. The amount of the FCC depends on if you cancelled the cruise yourself after the final payment date and took the 100% FCC or Royal cancelled the cruise for you and you selected the 125% FCC. If you cancelled the cruise then the amount of the fcc would be the price of the cruise fare for each person - the taxes & fees. But if Royal cancelled the cruise then the amount of the FCC would be the price of the cruise fare - the taxes and fees + 25% For the FCC check your email every other day and for cash refunds check your cc everyday.
