  1. If you haven't closed that credit card you should get the refund within 2 weeks from when you cancelled the items. The exact day of when will see the refund in your statement depends on how long it takes your credit card company to process refunds. That exact scenario that you mentioned has happened to me for several cp purchases on several different cruises when I have purchased cp items for each cruise & then becausebi either changed my mind on one of the purchases or the items were cheaper I would cancel them & repurchase them for the sale price & the new purchase price would reflect on my credit card statement or checking account between 5 days & 2 Weeks before the refunds would go to the credit card account or checking account that was used to make the previous cp purchases that was later cancelled.

  3. The wowbands that are provided onboard can be used instead of carrying the traditional sea pass cards. However, please note that they cannot be used to get on and off the ship. For that purpose, you will still need to use your sea pass card. These wowbands are water-resistant and can be used on a perfect day at Cococay. They are primarily used to open the stateroom door, but they do not display the drink package you purchased before the cruise, unlike the sea pass card. All the purchases made on the cruise planner, including the drink packages, will be listed on the individual sea pass card and account for the person who has that package. Therefore, it is essential to carry your sea pass card with you at all times to access the various amenities and services onboard.

Birth certificates & government ID’s will suffice as long as the sailing is closed loop (starts in one us port & returns to the same us port) As soon as online check-in opens you can use the Royal Caribbean app to select an boarding time that works best for you & every-person on your reservation first one day & then another day you can complete the rest of the online checkin anytime between when online check-in opens & 2 days before embarkation day.

To ensure a seamless check-in process for your upcoming cruise, it is highly recommended that you complete the online check-in process as soon as it becomes available, typically 45 days before the departure date. For those with the Royal Caribbean app, you can reserve check-in times for each person on your reservation one day and complete the rest of the online check-in process on another day. During the online check-in process, you will be required to furnish critical information such as the address, emergency contact details, payment method for onboard expenses, and forms of identification for travel, including passport, US-issued birth certificate & ID, Abroad birth certificate & ID, or birth certificate & ID & naturalization papers (if born in a different country but now a US resident & citizen). Online check-in must be completed no later than 2 days before your cruise begins. By completing the check-in process online, you and everyone on your reservation can avoid a rushed and stressful start to the cruise when you arrive at the terminal. Once you complete the online check-in process, you can print out your luggage tags and set sail passes, which will be necessary for boarding the ship. Additionally, a health questionnaire for each guest on the reservation must be completed & answered honestly & truthfully within 24 hours before boarding the cruise ship.

  7. @CanHardlyWait We spend lots of money at home every month on all our bills & other living expenses, which means we have almost no money left at the end of each month, so we can't even afford a passport book for each of us or even afford a passport card for each of us. When my DM & I book cruises, we have to book them between 18 months & 2years before the sailing date so that we have a long time to look for sales with price drops on the cruises and cruise planners and to buy stuff on the cruise planner and to pay off the cruises that we booked many months in advance of when we would want to cruise.
  8. My DM & I would renew our passports after we return, but I know we won't have the money to renew our passports. I have even considered renewing a passport card, but we won't have the money to renew our passport cards. We have also realized that we don't have to have passports since my we always do closed-loop cruises from US ports so that we can use our photo IDs & birth certificates.
  9. Does that me we use our passports up until to the day the day that they expire? Also does that mean we can use our passports after they expire for cruises to that Bahamas from the us and back?
  10. My DM & I are on a 3-night cruise to the Bahamas on a carnival cruise ship in February & we will be visiting Nassau, but our passports expire precisely 6 months to the day we will be in Nassau. So what I'm asking, is can my DM & i use our passports when Re-entering the US on disembarkation day, or should we bring our birth certificates & government/State-issued photo IDs & my college ID since my driver's permit has expired over 4 years ago? FYI, my DM & I don't have enough time to renew our passports between today and when cruise check-in opens, which is 2 weeks before our Carnival Cruise on embarkation day.

Since you said that your daughter gets carsick & you got sick on a boat snorkeling shore excursion I would book an ultra-spacious balcony room that's as low as you can book and is midship or book a suite that's midship and on as low of a deck that you can book but either one of those options would help with motion sickness. Also, bring with you & take daily (while you are on the cruise ship) some kind of motion sickness prevention medication such as Dramamine, Bonnie, and sea bands, or have both of your doctors write you a prescription for scopolamine which is a motion sickness patch that goes behind your ears but requires a prescription. I wouldn’t sail in a room that’s aft of the ship Again even because that's where you can feel a lot of the ship movement throughout the days, especially at night when you are trying to sleep or during hurricane season when cruising the Caribbean or the Bahamas which I have some experience with because when I sailed on carnival liberty during the 4night sailing of 10/30/23, I stayed in an interior cabin on as low of a deck that I could book & Because there was a tropical storm near Bimini, the ship was rocking so much for over 12 hours the day we were supposed to dock at Bimini that the ship couldn’t dock there but was able to dock at Nassau just 2 days before the ship was supposed to dock at Bimini. Hence, we had 3 sea days instead of just 2 sea days and got a refundable obc of almost $19 each for a missed port.
  12. You can use birth certificates that is the original or certified or embossed/raised seal.
  13. Birth certificates can only be used for closed loop cruises. Closed loop cruises are cruises that embark & disembark @ the same US cruise terminal. You can use birth certificates but they need to be an original or raised sealed copy.
  14. @FionaMG, deleting the last digit in my C&A number & saving it & then retyping the last digit didn’t work so then I deleted my my entire C&A number & then retyped the entire number & saved it did work. I no longer see that error.

In April my mom & I were on our first cruise as platinum status in the C&A society & when went to print the luggage tags I noticed that they said gold so I called royal caribbean & told them that the luggage tags said that the C&A status is gold & I would like new luggage tags that say our correct C&A status which @ that time was platinum & they issued us luggage tags that said platinum as our C&A status. if you want your spouse’s & your luggage tags to say Diamond then you should call royal & ask for new luggage tags that say Diamond.
  16. The aqua shows can’t be seen from the Central Park balconies because those balconies are in the midship area & nowhere close to the aquatheater which is located on deck 6 in the boardwalk neighborhood which is in the aft of the ship.
  17. The app will allow you to choose an arrival time slot first before the rest of the check-in process meaning that you can select an arrival time on one Day & then on another day you can upload your photo & travel information

  19. Yes they can replaced names on the reservation as long as one name that is on the reservation stays the same & 1 of the names doesn’t change
  20. Starbucks on cruise ships charges the same prices as onland. If you have a Starbucks card you can even use it at the Starbucks kiosk on cruise ships & if your part of the Starbucks rewards program you can even earn stars for the Starbucks purchases on cruise ships but you can redeem stars on cruise ships.

I booked my past 8 cruises directly with royal caribbean & every time I saw a better price on there website I called royal caribbean and I asked if they could reprice with the a promotion that is different or betray than when I booked all of my past & future cruises if more than 1 of them had a better price or promotion.

Pre-paying for parking at a cruise terminal in port Canaveral was available until sometime in 2016 which is when the option to prepay for parking for one of the cruise terminals @ port Canaveral has been removed from the port Canaveral website because it says “no reservations are needed because cruise lines can move to different cruise terminals” within port Canaveral.
