  1. It's their secret plan to get you to do b2b cruises :-) I am up for it!
  2. I would say a 2 night cruise if I lived near a port for a weekend gettaway, but otherwise i think it would have to be a 7 day. I found it interesting there was guests that were a small group of btb cruisers on Enchantment alternating between 4 and 3 night for months. I would not enjoy that process twice a week. But would love the length of time on a cruise. :)
  3. It was right next to the three card poker table on Enchantment and great for people watching! All those body contortions! Hehe
  4. It's a couple hours closer than port canaveral from Atlanta for us and has radiance class but seems to have dates when our girls are in school. Canaveral is nice and has some good ships too. :)
  5. Yeah I really enjoy Key West! It's a great must! Is Tampa ever going to a year round embarkation port?
  6. We had plenty of time to see most of Rome. It was a welcome rest after so many days on the go.
  7. I am curious to see what is done for New Year's Eve. Going on explorer Dec 2014. I bet it's a fun party! Casino pay double payout at midnight? Wheel fortune slot land on 1000 at midnight? Hehe
  8. Oh dont worry! You have to try it! So worth it. Lots of jobs to volunteer for. Its a friendly competition. Only drawback is if you get seasick easily there is the start position where the boat is just bobbing. No beuno!
  9. Yeah it's great! I love Labadee. I can't wait for the girls to get older to enjoy the bigger kid stuff. My ultimate itinerary would include Labadee, st Maarten(fit in both sailing and orient beach), San Juan (mofongo), Jamaica (jerk chicken ;)), Cozumel (fresh salsa verde & beer). Too bad not all on one cruise. My wife would include Grand Cayman. She would not include the time we tried to walk to Bacardi after water taxi on San Juan. Police were nice enough to give us a ride after the first officer that didn't speak English realized we were walking towards a bad area so he radioed some English speaking officers to stop us up ahead and give us a ride! :) I came across an article about RC looking to develop a port in Jacmel, Haiti a while back but then the earthquake occurred. I use to vacation there as a kid. Would have loved to visit there! Did you ever see their concept there Matt?
  10. Just curious to see new ideas and thoughts for current or potential ports.
  11. I like to book on a cruise for the next cruise over 6 months. Savings, on board credit, and the cruise planning never ends! :)
  12. Having kids, we tend to pick the ship first and then pick the itinerary. Before it was just the opposite. Though maybe now with some ports having a few different ships to pick from its: port, ship, then itinerary.
  13. Yeah it was! There was one point where the boat was up on the side and I thought if my foot slipped, I would have just rolled out the back of the boat. And they weren't even using the full sail
  14. My favorite excursion was America's Cup Regatta in St Maarten. We booked through Royal though I think it can be booked locally as well. They gave you a job on the boat, taught you how and then raced a second boat through a course. I got to be a rear wench man. It was a great time. Second favorites have to beach day at Orient Beach or Cozumel. Orient beach reminds me of Super Paradise Beach on Mykonos from our honeymoon cruise.
  15. Our next cruises: Allure April 6th 2014-spring break for the girls Freedom July 20th 2014-End of summer Explorer December 27. 2014- Birthday celebration for my better half. Hope time flies! I hear the waves calling and taste the salty sea air!
