I'm American and I still don't understand it.  I get tipping certain people but its gotten way out of control in the US.  I went to subway the other day and was asked if I wanted to leave a tip.....

I highly recommend Daniel Johnsons monkey and sloth hangout in Roatan.  We booked our excursion directly through them and they picked us up at the port.  They offer several packages and the one we did was their sloth hangout, snorkeling and beach hangout.  We were back at the ship a couple of hours early as I don't like cutting it close getting back.  The iguana park is pretty cool as well if you're into that.  The snorkeling was amazing, its basically in their backyard and was able to see lots of fish, lobsters ect...  Super nice people.   The sea turtle rescue in Cozumel was also a very cool experience if that is something that interests you.

Wow. I've never received such an email.  Instead, I've always had to look on the website.
One quick hint. When I download the pdf of the tags, I can open them in a browser and add our names in the blank. That way, the names are clearly legible when printed.

Does this include if your cruise ship visits a port in one of these countries?

We fly into Hobby and Uber to the port.  Uber is around 50-60 dollars for the trip.  We usually stay in Webster as its nice, has plenty of options for lodging and food.

Not in Texas, they do they absolute dumbest crap I've ever seen regarding road construction.  I've been driving through the Fort Worth construction three times a week on 35W that they started 20 years ago and still haven't finished.

Wow! They're ahead of schedule! LOL!
In comparison, Cabeza de Vaca was shipwrecked in Galveston in November 1528.  He marched his men inland. When they reached Dickinson Bayou they dropped a tree across to ford the river.  Once across, de Vaca announced "We must improve this route!"
I-45 has been under construction ever since.

I just booked a cruise for 2024 and the options were traditional at 5 or 8pm and MTD. I chose MTD because I'm solo and perfer not to be sat at a shared table.

I like the 5/5:30 time personally. It gives me an opportunity to get my 4th meal in later that night.

According to the sign, it will be the main lanes of the freeway and will cover all day both days.  The sign was after the HOV ends.
That being said, is very common for TxDOT to deploy these signs and then fail to actually close the road.  Therefore, it is hard to say if it will really happen or not.
If I find out anything further, I will update this thread.

We went to it on the Allure in July,  and really enjoyed it.  But I think the level of audience participation, or lack thereof, will play a big roll in how fun it is.

I'm currently on Anthem heading to Norway in large balcony cabin that I won on Royal Up. I will try and remember to post a couple of pics for you tomorrow.
That said, having experience of normal balconies too, I personally don't think you gain anything from the large one as far as the view is concerned. In fact, I can't really see more from this one than I could from my previous two rooms on Anthem and they were both classed as obstructed balconies.

No, June. I liked the July itineraries but with work commitments and Wimbledon (obsessed) the late June sailing worked better. Hope you have a lovely cruise!

Personally I think 7 nights would be a great start and you can't go wrong with Oasis class.  Plenty of options for everyone.  Our kids first cruise was on Allure for 7 nights and they had a blast.

When we were on Allure 3 weeks ago, earliest time was 11:00,   we showed up to drop off our luggage at 10:15 expecting a wait,  we went right through security and were on the ship before 10:30.  Smoothest embarkation of any cruise we've been on.   Also,  we were not in a suite, and did not have The Key.

I've run with it several times purchased at or near internet alone prices. I have yet to have a glitch with it and have made the most out of the benefits each time.  I don't feel the need for full on suite type pampering but I enjoy walking past long lines and treated a little bit special. Fiancé is very much the fan of it as well.  I should have reached Diamond status by now but C+A lost 14 years and 40 points apparently permanently as we never were able to locate most of the missing stuff. The key makes me feel better than how C+A treated me. I have been "Gold" twice, "Platinum" twice and will soon be "Emerald" for the second time. Til I reach "Diamond or above" I'll at least have the key to make me feel a little more than 3rd class steerage ballast...  😄

I have and I have it booked for our upcoming cruise.  You will find varying opinions on its worth, I personally find value in it.  I like the priority embarkation, reserved seating and I do take advantage of the time blocked off for certain activities.  I am purchasing internet to begin with so if the Key is on sale I can usually get it for around 7-8 dollars per day more than the internet package.  That makes it worth it for us.
