I love that Royal has taken the all must be vaccinated stance on both Celebrity and RCCL. I will definitely cruise sooner knowing all on board are vaccinated.
Absolutely kills it for people that will not be vaccinated. Hopefully that requirement is short lived.

Woohoo! I can accept any blame for this one lol. I think it is a way better choice than LB.
It is most definitely the point of no return. Consider it a warning
With all the added options I couldn't pass it up not to mention the lower cost. Under 12k final price.

If you really want to secure both, just bite the bullet and put a deposit down on that Allure sailing for 3 to lock the price down. Then if you let it go cause you end up sailing LB, you will only lose $300 in change fee. Beats coming back tomorrow to find out the the room has jumped $8000. And yes, this has already happened to some people since Tuesday.
We are now in star class on Allure for Feb 2023

I’m not sure what you’re asking. Wait a year and switch what to what ? If you are asking if you should wait a year and switch from your Liberty Villa to an Allure ATS, I would say that #1, the price on the ATS is likely to go higher (perhaps significantly higher) in a year and #2, it most likely won’t be available in a year.
If the Allure A1 is truly the same price as a Liberty Villa, and if you have 5 or less people, and if you have the opportunity to move your reservation from Liberty to Allure, I would recommend that you run, don’t walk, to switch this reservation immediately.
I should have worded this better. The Allure sailing is a year further out from our Liberty sailing. It's the A2 room and it's 100pp cheaper than our current booking without any addons. 7 people, wife and I plus our 5 kids.

Most definitely! VOOM, Drink package, UDP, Genie...
When I say same money thats before adding these addons to the Liberty sailing as in VOOM, UDP and UBP. Should we just wait a year and switch? I would hope by 2023 all of this will be behind us.

We have the Villa suite booked on Liberty and after looking at this Aquatheater suite on Allure for the same money, it seems like you get WAY more for your money in the Star class suite.
-
Is there any difference between the A1 and A2 category rooms except for the size? We are looking at an A2 on deck 10. My understanding is this is a star class room correct?
-
So is Liberty being moved out of Galveston then?

Uhh, why wouldn't 2 of the largest employers in the US require that their employees be vaccinated? What do they gain from having a potential outbreak?
You obviously don't get it. Have a great day.

At the risk of getting too far off topic, let me blow your mind. There is a massive healthcare system in my area. The require a “no smoking”pledge as a condition of employment. Annually everyone must submit to bloodwork and a health assessment. Nicotine positive on your blood work is cause for termination of employment.
Employees must also where a 2 way communication fob on their uniform at all times while on the clock, this fob also records and reports their location in real time to a central hub.
Point being, employers have a lot of influence over their employees.
TX is an “at will” employment state as well.As condition of employment meaning that you are aware of this when you apply for the job correct????
What stops Walmart or Costco ect from forcing employees to get this vaccine? You're telling people you have to get this or not be able to provide for your families.....Thats not right and its not the same as what you posted above.

Except that isn't a violation of people's rights? There's nothing political about it, you're just wrong haha
You're delusional.

Florida is an at-will employment state. They are asking their employees to take precautions. Don't like it? Pack your bags. That is the power of at-will employment
So you agree with violating peoples rights then? This is where this entire situation turns political. Ones rights only matter depending on which side of the agenda you are on.

it is for damn sure your employers business. If one of my employees went out, partied, and then spread it to coworkers, shutting down the company for X amount of time, it would cost me money, and open up god knows what other legal actions.
So are you going to monitor EVERYTHING your employees do????? Why not have them wear ankle bracelets and put cameras in their houses? Where does this insanity stop?????

This private healthcare provider in Florida is requiring all employees to get vaccinated.
“We are requiring that all of our employees be vaccinated as soon as they are eligible, providing there are no contraindications,” president and CEO Dr. Craig Deligdish said.
Absolutely ridiculous. Forcing people to get this vaccine is unconstitutional and should be illegal. Its not your employers business or anyone elses to tell you that you have to put this crap into your body.

Yes, it works the same in Canada as everywhere else, being vaccinated prevents severe disease, hospitalization, intubation, and death as @SpeedNoodlesstated.
So its been stated that having this vaccine doesn't prevent you from contracting Covid or transmitting it.....How does that fall under prevents disease, hospitalization ect???
-
Covid in itself is political in nature. You can't talk about COVID without being on one side of the fence or the other. If both sides can't openly express their view then maybe no more Covid posts???

Another thing if they do require everyone to have the vaccine shot then why change anything?????
Exactly. Just like if masks work then why 6 feet social distancing? If social distancing works then why masks? Its all laughable. Not to mention if someone can simply breath on someone and infect them then why is a swap up the nose necessary for testing? We can DNA test with a simple mouth swap but not for COVID..........

I thought Carnival was going to put a few ships into dry dock while all of this was going on. Makes sense to do all of their work while they are handcuffed by the CDC.

Without people getting the vaccine you won’t need to request a refund they will just give it to you. It’s funny people want things to get back to normal but don’t want to take the proper steps to help society return to some sort of normalcy.
Conforming with the masses is not what I consider "taking proper steps to help society return to normal". If people would think for themselves we wouldn't be in this situation. I am far from anti vaccination but I do not agree with this vaccination and will not be getting it.
If cruise lines start requiring all vaccinations and not just Covid then we can talk about normalcy.
-
Hopefully Royal will make a decision on this soon. If they require a vaccine Ill be requesting a full refund for our 2022 cruise.
-
If wearing a mask is mandatory Ill wait to get back on a ship. I refuse to pay to be restricted when I can stay home for free. If vaccinations become mandatory then we will be done cruising until that is lifted. Vacation is suppose to be fun and dealing with all of the madness of Covid isn't fun.

I hear ya, when I say short lived I'm hoping we are back to some sort of normalcy by next year.
