I sincerely hope that the CDC is acting in good faith and all of the requirements will be forthcoming soon.  Unfortunately, I'm not confident.

As many have pointed out, the new administration throws in an additional variable that could gum up the whole works.

Still trying to remain optimistic, but it is getting tougher by the day! ?

3000 people a day in the US are dying.  Cruises are like #999 on the CDC's todo list

+1 to this... I would start on Facebook and Twitter. Make mention of involving the press in the post. A lot of times they will escalate the issue to someone who can actually do something. What is unfortunate in the video is the recording starting from the middle of the selection process and not the beginning (which I would encourage you to go back and replicate if possible). As others have mentioned... their website is terribly glitchy. Any use of the back button, or reload option can further compound those issues. It's no excuse since it clearly looks like you're paying for 4 people. I hope it works out for you!

I know enough about this top to decline on wearing a mask, or getting a vax or getting traced while on board.  Cruising is the most social vacation there is.  With these mandates in place, I will not cruise until all 3 mentioned are removed.

There are cameras covering literally every inch of the ship, they can find you whenever they want

Why would RC have an 84 year old on its first sailing out of Singapore.  I know he tested negative before the cruise and it was a false positive, but why would RC even take that risk to begin with.  Most Covid deaths are seniors and for whatever reason RC didn’t seem to care and decided to take that risk.

if the cruise line keep taking risks like that in the beginning, it will be a long wait to cruise

Because you can't discriminate amongst your customer base? And what good would it do research wise if you only allowed healthy 25-35 yr olds for the foreseeable future. I don't think this forum would take too kindly to the latter.

Masks will be required until the pandemic is declared "over" by the WHO and CDC. The vaccine is 95% effective in preventing illness due to COVID 19. Whether or not a vaccinated person could still be a carrier and therefore spread COVID has not been studied. Cruising without a mask will occur in the 2nd half of 2021.

Lol, we don't even know for certain that there will be cruising in 2021

  6. To quote the rep i was on the phone with when my November Symphony sailing got canceled. "You can lift and shift to a 5 night sailing in January or February, but uh, and I can't really say this to you, but I'd take the refund".  I feel like they've known this for a while, and have a realistic start date in the late spring in mind, but I don't blame them at all for acting like they expect to be sailing "soon", in order to hold on to all those interest free loans people keep giving them.

While I respect your OPINION on how you will handle this situation by just “sitting back and relaxing”. It makes me feel a little better sharing my ideas.  I hope they are reading the boards for some suggestions.  Sometimes a perspective from the outside will help solve problems or show a different approach. I like thinking outside the box and not let people or things tell me how to think.

The smart ones who need their economy stimulated.  I believe they can do it in a safe matter. Keep our ports shut down and see what cruise lines will figure out how to make it happen elsewhere   Although I don’t think they wil Lose many but all inclusive resorts will see an increase

    Not going to happen

Royal needs a PLAN “B” desperately. Why are they waiting for the US government.  Start in a foreign port for example Nassau.   Ships already dock occasionally in US Port for what reason . I don’t know but restart stocking ships with US supplies move ship to locations that will allow embarkation.

And what country is gonna allow the people on those ships back in after the sailing is over?
