What does this have to do with cruising???? Maybe troll somewhere else.
As much as your initial response about it being UnCoNsTiTuTiOnAl for employers to mandate vaccines.

As condition of employment meaning that you are aware of this when you apply for the job correct????
What stops Walmart or Costco ect from forcing employees to get this vaccine? You're telling people you have to get this or not be able to provide for your families.....Thats not right and its not the same as what you posted above.
Uhh, why wouldn't 2 of the largest employers in the US require that their employees be vaccinated? What do they gain from having a potential outbreak?

So you agree with violating peoples rights then? This is where this entire situation turns political. Ones rights only matter depending on which side of the agenda you are on.
Except that isn't a violation of people's rights? There's nothing political about it, you're just wrong haha

So are you going to monitor EVERYTHING your employees do????? Why not have them wear ankle bracelets and put cameras in their houses? Where does this insanity stop?????
Also, if you've got a smart phone/watch, you've pretty much got the whole ankle bracelet and camera thing down already

Florida is an at-will employment state. They are asking their employees to take precautions. Don't like it? Pack your bags. That is the power of at-will employment

Absolutely ridiculous. Forcing people to get this vaccine is unconstitutional and should be illegal. Its not your employers business or anyone elses to tell you that you have to put this crap into your body.
it is for damn sure your employers business. If one of my employees went out, partied, and then spread it to coworkers, shutting down the company for X amount of time, it would cost me money, and open up god knows what other legal actions.

Is it a bad thing that they don't want people coming in with positive tests?

Feb 7 was a terrible anniversary for us. It was the date of our last cruise (Anthem Feb 7, 2020). Of course, that is the cruise that ended up being delayed by 3 days due to an erroneous COVID scare...so the true anniversary of our last boarding will be on Wednesday(Feb 10). Hard to believe it's been a whole year. This truly sucks.
This is so tone deaf when you look at what else has happened in the last calendar year.

Agree with this. The mask police wandering around the ship sounds like a ball, as well as the elevator police. Sounds like a prison.
Anti maskers wandering around sounds like a ball as well.... it was hard enough to get people to wash their damn hands before entering the buffet or MDR, they gotta be strict or just not sail.

I have to wear a mask walking across a large, deserted parking lot when going to work at 3 am and when alone in a cooler breaking down pallets of 75+ lb boxes.
Wearing one on vacation won’t bother me in the least.
Been wearing one 10 hrs a day at work for almost a year now, don't even notice it anymore. I've literally forked food into during lunch because I forgot it was on.

This "mask" would not be permitted to be worn in my hospital; it really does not appear to do any of the things that are important for a mask to do.
It would be like marketing a topless condom

So as the cruise ships arrive/leave a US port, I get wearing the mask. (of course)
Once you're in international waters, in a different country, aboard a ship not registered in America, how's the Biden mask mandate going to apply and/or be enforced.
Passenger vigilantism. No mask, you're going for a swim

That sentence about placing bets on future events is really interesting. I assume once you return to shore, you can no longer cancel or alter any bets place at sea on future events so that would make them especially risky. (Assuming canceling or altering bets is actually allowed up until the event starts.)
A passenger wouldn't be able to cancel a bet anyways. If the even gets cancelled, they'll have a refund system in place. It would be like placing a future bet at the Bellagio when you live in New York.

Conforming with the masses is not what I consider "taking proper steps to help society return to normal". If people would think for themselves we wouldn't be in this situation. I am far from anti vaccination but I do not agree with this vaccination and will not be getting it.
If cruise lines start requiring all vaccinations and not just Covid then we can talk about normalcy.
People are thinking for themselves, that's why we haven't gotten the virus under control

I'm unsure of the tone this was intended, but surely you can see the problem with issuing an FCC with an expiration date when there are no certainties about when a vaccine may be available to select populations.
They keep pushing the FCC expiration date. Let's put it this way, if people who want to be vaxxed are unable to do so before late 2022, we have bigger problems than cruising

Not everyone will be able to get a vaccine before their next cruises are planned, and even if they can meet the requirement their travel companions may not.
Then it looks like they just got themselves a shiny new FCC

We booked a cruise using MyVegas and it's a comped cruise using my reward. That was really easy to do by the way. We just tried redeeming a 100 OBC from my wife's account and it was denied. When I called they stated that you can only use one reward per booking. I think they changed their verbiage as it says "One reward redemption per booking(stateroom). Since we were turned down, I just tried to do the other way you can redeem to see if that will work by sending them an email with our information. Has anyone had any luck with the most recent RCL MyVegas reward with a comp and a OBC? I don't have a travel agent yet as I just recently booked this last week. Would a TA be able to help more than me calling? Thanks in advance if anyone can help.
You won't be able to, there is no way around it. I've tried on multiple occasions

Masks during the whole cruise? Vaccines Required? Limited Ports/Excursions? What would be too much?
