I was not a flip flop or sandal guy either until I finally broke down and got a pair of Teva Katavis...love them, they are now my go to for going anywhere on the ship during the day.

We are waiting on a September cruise on Enchantment, and I have pulling up poison ivy planned for this weekend...but unfortunately, I don't think that helps ?

You might try the Moody Gardens Hotel, we stayed there last year before a cruise and the lady at the front desk mentioned they had a package where you could leave your car in their garage and they would shuttle you over to the terminal. We did not use because we already had parking reservations, so I have no details.

I will gladly pay the $6.70 extra to be able to sail an Oasis Class from Texas ?

I asked a pool waiter on the Liberty last year if the tip I write in on the receipt goes to him or gets pooled and he said it goes to him, so I have been going with that. Saves me from carrying cash around and I add at least a buck for every drink....I feel it helps get better service but have very rarely run into a grumpy bartender on any cruise.

I would have loved to have one of those on my Sept. 16 Liberty cruise, they didn't have anything like it, at least I didn't see one. Maybe I am old school, but I like locking the phone up in the safe when cruising, would hate to have to use an app.

TD 9 is now tropical storm Isaac and one that I have been watching also. I too have a Sept. 16th sailing, on Liberty. Not that I am worried, its all good with me as long as I can get on the ship! ? I have noticed its projected path is very similar to last years Harvey. I was on the Liberty last year when our 7 day cruise became a 12 day cruise because of Harvey...lightning wouldn't strike twice

And yes, usually around holidays they will have sales, so keep an eye on your cruise planner...this Labor Day they will probably have a sale going on

With late seating, you always have time to catch the best show onboard....the sunsets!
