  1. I think your supposed to keep your shoes on in the dinning room not leave them at the door @twangster
  2. Thanks @RDDAILY for the notes on age and size! Some of the hardest info to find sometimes but so important. I'm disappointed Mariner didn't get a splash zone
  3. I’m 30 and never been to a casino before, is the one at Atlantis any good?
  4. Symphony of the Seas March 30, 2019
  5. @JLMoran I also am a safari mac users and it always works here too! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe it just depends which way the wind blows
  6. @Matt would you go as a group of adults or is it more fun with the kids? There is a high chance we'll be back at Nassau with our kids for a future cruise- if Atlantis is better for the older crowd we'd go now if its better to take the littles then I'll hold off and wait for them.
  7. Also curious if anyone has any opinions on Atlantis?
  8. Was in St Johns, Antigua in 2016 and booked the Canopy Tour, it was GREAT! http://www.royalcaribbean.com/shoreExcursions/product/detail/view.do?ProductCode=AN71&DestinationCode= https://www.facebook.com/AntiguaRainforestZiplineTour/ 10/10 would do this again.
  9. @Jewelmarie53 It does seem most ships plan halloween events if your onboard for the holiday! @Matt do you still have a connection with a driver in St Maarteen? I have the same itinerary on Symphony of the seas March 2019.
  10. @twangster I haven't seen more then the 10% off for our Symphony sailing on beverage packages in March 2019, I've been hoping that maybe we'll win with black friday. Does that seem likely in your experience? Black friday will be ~4 months before our sail date
  11. If someone can convince @Matt GC 2020 Halloween I'd consider letting my kids skip school too ?
  12. @twangster & @carlosalonsor Thank you! sounds like this will be interesting and I do like it being opened by 3rd party so everyone can visit! I don't see myself changing cruise lines so unlikely for me to visit either of the two newest ports.
  13. I would love to see options in Maryland! Were in western NY that would be a easy day drive for us to and a lot less expensive then flying to Florida! I won't complain about more options ? NJ and Maryland are the drivable ports form here. ?
  14. Haha yes I think so! Drink package has been confirmed for us ? also asked hubby to promise me one early am sunrise on the balcony (he liked to sleep in so this is a big agreement for him LOL).
  15. @Lovetocruise2002 we are thinking of taking my mom on our kids cruise. We think we’re going with 2 rooms like Matt does and it won’t be much more to add her to the reservation if we are already paying for 2 rooms.
  16. Ya! Bitter sweet on kids sail free as I’ll only have 1 kid then my other be an “adult” ? maybe I’ll get lucky with a 3rd & 4th sail free? Hahaha
  17. @twangster yup! We just watch for good airline deals getting out of here. We did WDW 2017 and were able to get southwest round trip for ~$1000 which was great. But it was over $1000 for just 2 of us to San Juan in 2016.
  18. @twangster for sure! I used to travel a lot for work so I’ve been around half the world with out the kids seen lots of cool things and left them home ? I think it all plays into what makes me feel bad. We’re already booked and prices for symphony have sored since we booked. I’m looking at feb break 2020 as maybe a future kids cruise
  19. This is interesting... I don't remember being seated after night one. I wonder if we were rude and just headed on in to our table or if because we were a large group (12 adults) if we were seated and I just never paid attention to the host taking us all. #blameitonthewine
  20. UGH transportation! Were in NY so there isn't a short cruise option, NJ only seems to get 5+ day sailings. Looked at one for $1,086.80 USD out of Miami for this fall on the current promo for family of 4, flights to get us all there were nearly $1500 ? Driving to Florida is a FULL 2 days of driving from our house which is out of the question, been there done that don't need to try it again.
  21. haha! yes I'm very lucky to have parents who keep ours also. I think I'm feeling more of the guilt because were going on Symphony and it has so much kid stuff! Last cruise was Adventure before the dry dock that added all the cool stuff so it was a very adultish ship. Now I just want to take them to experience it all ? Also my big one is 12 little is 5 so they are way cooler to experience these things with then when they were smaller
  22. LOVED the Mystery Theater dinner on Adventure of the Seas, sadly it was 2016 and its been through a dry dock since then so it could be very different now. It was in Giovanni's table and the show took place around us while we ate. Very enjoyable would do it again seem it has been so long now that even if it was the same show we certainly wouldn't remember it. The food was very good too!
