    Just a follow up, after seeing where the cabanas are supposed to be set up at the pool, I ended up switching from an Oasis to a Chill Island cabana. I think I'll like the pool but, being just my wife & I, I think the peace of Chill Island will be preferable. And, according to the confirmation e-mail, I'm still a "C". I think I'm still going to swing by the excursion desk once we're on board to see what the situation is regarding picking/assignment.

    My reservation says Oasis Lagoon Cabanas C. Right now the Chill Island cabanas are the same price. Trying to decide if I should switch.

    We're scheduled for CocoCay on June 6, 2019. Hopefully everything scheduled to open in May will be!

    This trip it's just going to be my wife and I, so at most a half day pass would work for us at $44/pp. Our cruise price doesn't seem inflated either, but I'm guessing that's because much of the island won't be fully open by early June. I'm just a little disappointed at all the "extras" they're changing for.

    We're sailing on the Mariner to CocoCay next June and I'm trying to decide if it's worth the extra money to do a half or full day "thrill" pass. It's our first cruise and we don't really know what to expect, but I was surprised that the whole waterpark portion isn't included in the cruise fare. Makes even less sense if the fares are drastically higher than other itineraries. Depending on our experience, it might be our first and last visit to CocoCay.

    I'm surprising my wife with our very first cruise next summer for our 20th wedding anniversary. We'll be taking a 4 Night Bahamas & Perfect Day Cruise aboard the Mariner of the Seas during the first week of June 2019. Neither of us has ever been on a cruise before, so I'm a total newb when it comes to how things work. However, I am a fast learner! My question is around the the MDR and the classic soda package. I understand the soda package comes with the souvenir cup you can use with the Freestyle dispensers. Does the package also entitle you to comparable soft drinks offered at the MDR or do those still cost extra?
