  1. If you have The Key, you can drop off your carry on when you board and that should get to your cabin pretty soon. Even if it is still there after lunch and cabins are ready, you can then grab it and take it to the cabin.
  2. Oooh, so how cute is the Captain?? Ha, I can imagine the vintages trying to get the two of you together…if they don’t want him for themselves, of course! Good luck! Very cool about the new cruise! Sweet tradition you guys have going on. Stressful, but sweet. Good luck with dinner! I hope everyone finds something they enjoy. Good luck at the casino, too. I still can’t believe they took $400 of your money. Have a great night! Love the posts!
  3. Hiya! You still need to select a boarding time and arrive at that time. The Key allows you to board at that time, but only if you have a time that is before it. You can def check in later, though, whatever you prefer.
  4. Great question! It would depend on what you want on a cruise. The activities and entertainment as well as dining options will be significantly less than on a larger ship. However, some love the intimacy of a smaller ship and Enchantment is known for great service. If you mainly want to relax and do not need the bells and whistles, it can be a great option. I wonder about how the ship will feel at times when the weather gets rough or Captain going quickly. It can be felt in the big ships, so I wonder how it would be on Enchantment on a TA.
  5. Ooh boooy. That’s sticky. I really hope your brother gets everything out of his system and feels better. And takes it a bit easier tomorrow. Not being judgey, just hope his body can recover easier. It is never easy when it comes to “internal issues.” I suppose my hope for you is that you can have quiet time for yourself and the times you are together, you are not hurt or stuck in the middle. Good luck to your BFF’s brother, too. … Maybe go to guest relations and change the reservation? Having to deal with the host again may just be too aggravating and fruitless. … I hope you get some rest and have a positive and peaceful tomorrow!
  6. Hmm, I am feeling pretty upset after reading that post, I am so grateful you are relatively calm, at least now. I can’t believe they took away $400 from you!! I have yet to make it to the casino, so I do not know the rules, but doesn’t your card read your dollar amount?! How can they take your money like that?! What the heck?! Okay, you got your vent out, I hope it helps, I will be upset for you! I am so sorry that happened! Big shout out to you for helping the kids!! Who knows, maybe they went to get a cookie and got lost finding their table. You took care of it, good for you!! Very nice! Plus on getting a sauna facial at North Star! Awkward with that couple and your bro! I hope you enjoyed PDCC and no real issues! You def are due nice times. Good for you for sporting the swimsuit! Like you said, you are in vacation, who cares what anyone thinks, you go have an awesome-o time!
  7. Yaaay!! Have a great day and I hope you find a shady spot with a nice breeze!! I was sooo looking forward to trying out all the foodie recommendations there, but I was there on All Saints Day and needed to fast. Pleeeaase, enjoy the yumminess for us! May it be a wonderful day!
  8. Well, not exactly wonderful, but sooo much better! Outside of dinner and some slow issues, it def sounds like a better and more good comical start! Flirty vintages much better than no bathing neighbors yelling or kids licking tables. Sorry about the canned water, though. I know this is going to be a great cruise for you guys!! Have an awesome-o time!!!
  9. Keep on checking, it goes up and down. I got it for my October/November cruise and it was like three dollars more than the internet package. It made completely sense. Heck, the ease of getting off the ship that day made it worth every penny even if I did not get the internet package! I had food poisoning so did not go, but you also get an a la carte breakfast that morning and can take your time.
  10. I concur about getting the internet package, if you are able. You may want to keep an eye on The Keu, prices often go down to the point that it is the same or a few dollars more than the internet package.
  11. I am relieved you are in a nice hotel getting a breather before your next cruise! I am so sorry you had such a challenging cruise. As I was reading your posts and just finishing up my own not so ideal cruise, I could not help but compare pre and post COVID experiences. It def feels like Royal has a different standard, but also so many people in general. I cannot believe some of the things you wrote about (not that you wrote them, but that they did them); leaving trash around, the incredibly poor manners, not tipping. Thankfully, you still managed to have positive times each day, even if it was bread from heaven or being up $20 at the casino! It is what got me through, too. I feel positive for your next cruise. I hope you get some rest and that your loved ones give you space as well as living together time. I look forward to hearing a more positive review soon! Def not because you sound down or negative, but because I truly hope it is a great and rejecting time! An experience that will give back real hope and confidence in Royal of old! And, I am sure you are fun to be around! Don’t let what anyone says get to you. You are providing an honest review and I would cruise with you! Have a peaceful day!
  12. @asquared17, right?! I am with you!! Poor thing!! … And gross!!
  13. So basically, the saving grace of the cruise has been bread. I love bread. Bread is good. I do wish you had just a wee bit more positive times, though! Having just got off my own cruise from heck (and it actually did gift me COVID), I feel extra for you. I completely agree with the food situation, I do not know what happened, but the food quality and service and prep changed dramatically. I had to laugh that they brought you basically an onion quesadilla after saying you are allergic to them. I would say that about seafood and would get double seafood. Boy, do I hope things get better and that the next cruise is a happy one…and not too intrusive. I really feel for you. Glad the migraine is better, though. @VACruiser, I do not like drama at all actually. I just keep hoping things are going to get better for @Ampurp85!! Poor thing!
  14. Also, if you have The Key, you can leave at any point during the process, very relaxed! I had it, left my bags out at night and they were happily waiting for me in the Key section which is right by the exit. They have porters to help take to the curb or car, etc.
  15. I feel like you walked in some really messed up drama show that was supposed to be a comedy. I already am sick, so your neighbors lack of showering put me over the edge, ewww!! I am so happy you got your bread! Is that pretty first picture the fried cheesecake? I hope it was all you hoped for and more and that a late port day just means you get to sleep a little bit extra.
  16. Aw man, I really hope you have the absolute best bread and fried cheesecake ever! And lots of it! I hope the rest of dinner is good and that you feel better., I am so sorry you are having such a taxing cruise, I pray it gets better each day. Enjoy that bread and cheesecake!
  17. It may just not be available yet. Wait and see if it opens up. If you have the UDP, you need to wait until on board anyway. You can do it when you arrive. I cannot imagine that it is full. There were still spots when I was sailing last week.
  18. I absolutely love two70! They make great sandwiches, salads, have fruits, desserts, etc. The main dining room may also be opened (possibly, seen a couple of posts about it). You could go to Sorrentos but I def vote for two70.
  19. Oh wow, what a shame! Such a beautiful place!! But, it is their home, if they prefer to keep it quiet, they got it.
  20. @Neesa, thank you!! I feel miserable, but laughing about the situation helps! I literally get nauseous when I think about the cruise or check the website for future cruises. It will pass, but for now, my body is trying to keep me on land! Haha! The funny, well ironic, part is that I went of the cruise to help decompress from serious complications from the first time I had COVID! All good, all good. Definitely a story to laugh at one day.
  21. So, I have to laugh. The dear cruise gave me a final gift; COVID. Something to remember it by…thank you! So, I am not sure if that was food poisoning (I still think so) or the start of COVID, but def have COVID now. I genuinely had to laugh at it!
  22. Man oh man! You are having some interesting days! I would love to have taught those kids some manners, I am upset for you! And iiiccck, kids were licking the tables…ewwww!!! I do love how you are getting to relax and take a delicious nap but also out and about. Good info about the inside cabin, I sometimes think about getting one for just the reason you mentioned; the good sleep! Okay, and saving a nice amount of cash. I hope things are smooth, you actually get to see Aqua, have some yummy and crispy fries and no more kid issues!
  23. Yes, go for it, it will be perfect weather. If typical weather, then not too hot, around 75ish. Not much time in NJ, so not uncomfortable time on deck.
