I have to really wonder if these Cruise Planner deals are really just a ploy. I just spent $55/person in the cruise planner during the Black Friday event and if this is the deal on the Oasis when I travel next November, I will die. That it oils have cost on $52.50/person. WTH...

Oasis now has an actual Escape Room not a pop up. The Oasis has a pop up Laser Tag Room which is in Studio B.

After installing the digital key, the home screen of the Royal Caribbean app adds a door icon. Did they recently change the name? Did I miss something? Wasn't it called the Refreshment Package?

Do you always get all of these benefits with a STAR CLASS CABIN? That a value of Drink and Internet $500-600, Dining on sale $200, Gratuities $100, that is about $700-800 value without the additional extras. What is ROYAL REPLENISH PACKAGE?

This completely destroys the view from the Solarium....

OASIS will be AMPLIFIED then and will have everything that all of the other OASIS CLASS SHIPS have. I would pick the Oasis since it will be upgraded.

Enhanced DL or ID requires the same documentation so the are equally acceptable. They are both equivalent to a Passport Card.

This is the week after Thanksgiving, 2020

I am cruising on one of Royal's Holiday cruises. Scheduled out of Ft Lauderdale on Nov. 29, 2020 on the Oasis. What should I expect? Is it Crowded? Is there anything special that I should not miss? Any additional helpful information would be appreciated.....

Welcome to the Group JustMeCindy, I would suggest that every where there is food being served, I would contact the Head Waiter or someone on staff and let them know about the food allergy and if the need they will make someone separately for your son so he can enjoy his meals without any issue. The staff is very accommodating and helpful when it comes to these things.

PLEASE NOTE that an ENHANCED DL is not a regular REAL ID License. An Enhanced Driver License requires the same documentation as is required when you apply for a Passport or Passport Card. The STAR on the Top Right only indicates a REAL ID License and not that it is an Enhanced DL.

YES a ENHANCED DRIVERS LICENSE is ACCEPTABLE. A NYS Enhanced Driver License is equivalent to a PASSPORT CARD. The same required documentation for each. When you check in on the APP there is also an option to check in with the ENHANCED DRIVERS LICENSE. I just used it in August on the ALLURE

You are better off not looking after your final payment date. What happens is Royal wants to fill up the ship, so they put on sale all of the unsold cabins. They would rather the ship go out as full as possible, than to have empty cabins. They would rather have additional revenue than nothing additional at all. So when you book, you can wait until 90 days prior so you can see what is at a reduced price but the risk is you may not be able to get the Cabin Category or location on the ship that you would like, or the ship may be full. This is the changes you would have to take. I don't bother, because I want a specific Cabin Category and a specific location.

They do this all of the time. I just completed this process with them yesterday and I did this for clients in the past. This is what they require to enable the exemption for the passenger.

Have the person who is a diabetic get a note form their doctor specifying that they are a Diabetic and cannot drink Alcohol, or any Sweetened drinks or Fruit Juices. Then once you have it in your hand, call Royal and tell them you are looking to get an exemption from any beverage package due to on passenger being Diabetic and that you have a doctors note. Take a photo of the doctors note or scan it and then attach it to the email address that customer service gives you, and then once they receive it they should give you the approval. Once the approval is given you have to be ready to purchase the drink package for the other person. IMPORTANT, make sure the doctors note specifies that the Patient's Name is under their care and it includes the Patients DOB on the note. Just had this done for my Mother and one of my sons who is traveling is her cabin wanted the drink package. It was approved immediately and then my son had to purchase the package right away, which I did for him since he was not home. Also, something to note, you can make changes to the package if the price goes down but you will have to call in to customer service because you will not be able to do it online. The details of the exemption will be in the passengers records so you will not have to provide documentation again.

The Drink Calc does not factor in gratuities. The drinks/cocktails/spirits onboard range from $11 to $13, while beer is about $7 to $8. The drink calc is used to compare your drink cost vs the drink package price before gratuities since you would have to pay gratuities either way. 5 drinks a day/person usually pays for the package. Plus you get bottled water, fresh squeezed juice, soda, Specialty coffees, and I am sure I am missing other items.

@twangster, this is a great brochure you created. Did you go around and price each of the drinks out and create this from scratch or did you get a copy form Royal?

Jump on that, on most ships the Surf & Stream alone is $17+....

That is strange, I was on the ALLURE in August and go off and back on in St Kitts and I have NO PASSPORT, although that link you supplied states that in St Kitts it is required. This may not be a very good link to follow regarding those rules.
