Hey @kontraxed, welcome to the boards! I will be sailing on SY in little over a month, so I will update you how the app is working and what functionality there is at this moment. Like both Matt and twangster have said, the app is still a work in progress! By your sailing in May of next year, most functionality will hopefully be added to the app. This will include Facial Scanning Check-in at PortMiami, Drink Ordering, Luggage Tracking, Dinner and Shore Reservations, Deck Plans, Online Cruse Compass, and more features to make your cruise as easy and enjoyable. Hope this helps answer your questions even more!

Also lost the functionality of the Cruise Countdown too, which i'm really bummed out about... Hope they bring it back, really added to the pre vacation experience!

B2B cruises are always fun, especially as I always find that 7 days (or in your case 8 days) is too short and that 14 days (16 days) is just the right amount to be on a ship. Hope you enjoy a Quantum ship too! They seem fun and I would love to try one soon.

From what I have read on this board, it seems as though you have to ask while on your cruise with the Casino Manager (or similar) or call RCL Casino Royale team (not sure on calling..)

Royal is certainly trying to get their clean up the act and get the tail out from under their legs, but it is going to be a very slow process. I do like how the accounts are going with Excalibur and online, but there are still mountains to move in the IT realm on Royal. But you are right:

Huh, interesting. We have tons of those two wires at home that we use all the time, and even bring them on a plane every time without a hitch (knock on wood). Will not bring on SY here coming up soon. Did you have it in your Carry-on or Checked? Reading some CC boards that seems to make a difference. So they also have some extension cords on board the ships? Good to know!

Lets hope the IT Department of Royal doesn't merge with Silversea... ?

While reading the prohibited items page on the RC Website, I noticed that extension cords are not allowed onboard. But contradictory to this policy, I was able to bring one in 2016 on Allure. Is this a new rule or do the security team take a blind eye to this rule? Anyone been stopped while bringing a cord in recent times? Any tips, because there really is not enough plugs for today's world in the cabins, would be greatly appreciated! -Carson
