Well, this rules out Disney cruises ever for me.
The thought of allowing people to be around food in a swim suite or without a shirt/shoes makes me ill. ?

We just did this trip and LOVED Roatan. Can't understand why anyone would skip it. The area around the port isn't the best but take a ride to west end bay and its great!
We went snorkeling in that area and it was amazing. I saw real sea turtles swimming through the reef just a few feet from me. 
Cozumel and Cozumel are a been there-done that for me. It seems to be just like any other port that's been getting cruises for years. Over commercialized and boring. For god sakes there is an old navy right when you get off the ship in Cozumel. No thanks, I can get that at home. If you're looking to skip a port, those are the ones to skip.

I just ended up buying pretty rare luggage as it seem someone always grabbed my old black bag, no matter what I did. Then I had to go chase someone down to get it back. 
I have yet to see someone else rolling around with matching hard case harry potter luggage yet!?

I think just about anyone technically savvy enough to navigate the web and manage online forums like these are Ravenclaws in spirit, if not officially via the Sorting Hat.
Side story -- A friend of mine suspected that all the Sorting Hat did was ask each prospective student a question that would require some work to solve. Where they got sorted to was based on their initial instinct:
Hufflepuff: Eh, I can work on that later! Gryffindor: Let me get right on that! Slytherin: How can I make someone else do this useless task for me? Ravenclaw: I bet I can build something to do that for me!

I've taken this excursion and I wouldn't say it was great. There were several people all hooked up to the same tank so you couldn't wander too far. There were also a ton of other people in the same area snorkeling so it wasn't the best. At one point, I'm pretty sure my hose has somehow messed up because I started to get very little air. After looking at it for about .2 seconds, the guide just handed me some snorkeling stuff and sent me away. I'm guessing this must happen fairly often from the way it happened. Also, we've been to quite a few places to dive and didn't find Nassau anything special. There was some trash in the little bit of reefs that were there. Most of it seemed grey and dead.

We're going in April as well. Which sailing are you on?

Hello we are in the Symphony starting April 6th. Ports are Honduras, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Nassau. Does anyone know if there are beaches without taking a transfer. Tenders?  And recommendations for inexpensive excursions. I.e. taxi to a beach for snorkeling etc...  Thanks. ?‍♂️????‍♀️??⚓️

Please allow me to ease your mind.  Labadee is beautiful, Nassau is beautiful.  There are wonderful activities to do in these locations.  
I think a lot of the complaints may come from people who have been to these locations multiple times because especially Nassau is on a LOT of itineraries.  If you're a multiple time cruiser and Nassau appears for the 47th time on your itineraries, you may have a bit of destination lethargy.  And when this lethargy occurs, people get more critical of the location. 
If its your 40th cruise, and you've been to Nassau your past 39 cruises, yah you'll probably make a ship day of your port day in Nassau.  
But this is your FIRST!  Dont second guess yourself.  You're going to have an AMAZING time.  Its beautiful there.  Relish in your excitement.  Do all of your planning.  And dont second guess yourself again.  You've nothing to worry about.  
No cruise ship pulls up into a port that's broken down with thieves and worse rubbing their hands together like evil villains just waiting to be delivered victims on a platter.   
You're smart, you've done your research.  No need to second guess things just because of a few negative comments.  For a first timer or even 5th timer, Nassau is a wonderful beautiful place to explore.  

Hi @amathey11 Pink in Miami is fantastic. 157 Collins Ave - VERY popular with locals. Great comfort food. Breakfast lunch and dinner. It is a cool retro looking place and easy to get to. Its not fine dining like Joes but it is great dining. 

LT Steak and Seafood on the north end of Ocean Drive inside the more intimate yet upscale Betsy Hotel. The only restaurant on Ocean Drive that I enjoy.

We're well aware we are already charged the 18%. We however highly doubt our service staff ever actually sees this money. I would much rather give it to them directly to ensure they're getting it. On our last cruise, I tipped $50 for a spa service and the woman literally cried. These people have nothing, the least I can do is give what I can to try to help them since they work so hard.

Wow. That's horrible. I've been on carnival, DCL, and RC and experience great service with all of them. 
 
Like I said, I personally don't believe the people I'm interacting with on that ship daily see any of that money whatsoever. They're usually paid way below minimum wage and spend months and months away from home. They least I can do is give them a few extra bucks for their service.
That's just my philosophy though.
