Oh my gosh Chris!!!!!  The trash, cups and plates guests leave everywhere irritates the YOU KNOW WHAT out of me too and I am guest!  When I see anything out of place I pick them up and put them in the proper place.  My husband gets SO irritated with me...he is like - Honey, why in the world are you cleaning?  We are on vacation.  
I also clean up my stateroom like this.  I make sure everything is in the trash and things are not left out and about.  I make the bed and I even compile the towels and put them in the bathtub when we are ready for new ones.  It drives my husband crazy (even after being together/married for 22 years)!  But I know that it's appreciated.  That is why I do it.  

Umm... that seems like something that should maybe be brought to Royal's attention. 

So while stumbling around the internet looking for pics and reviews and info about my upcoming cruise, I come across an IG account of an engineer on Mariner of the Seas.
 
The first thing I notice on his profile is the  saying...You cannot spell SLAUGHTER without LAUGHTER. (in capitals just like that)
Hmm..interesting...so I take a look at his most recent post of him down in the engine room area with  a smoke in his mouth and the caption is " When you've become disillusioned with life and everything you do seems not worthwhile."
His social media account is littered with pic of guns, bullets and sayings like "Not enough bullets for all the assholes out there" and "Still wanna be the first on my block to get a confirmed kill"  Pics of guns pointed saying "send nudes" and "Let bodies hit the floor"
I am not saying that it means anything...but I have to admit..I am kinda surprised that this type of thing is posted. I don't think my employer would allow me to do this and it certainly is not professional and perhaps borderline needing some kinda help....
With todays society and social media everywhere...anyone else seen something like this...and how did id make you feel?....
 

I happened to miss my call a couple weeks ago when I was in a show at Busch Gardens.  When I saw the number I reverse-searched on Google and saw a few results showing Royal Caribbean.  It was with that I determined the number was them, called back, said I was hoping it was an upgrade call I missed and am returning.  They had to do some research since they are so big but ultimately was transferred and assisted with my upgrade!
With that being said, I can't guarantee you'll have the same results, but if you do miss the call/ignore unknown numbers and get back pretty quickly, it is not impossible to get the upgrade if you were indeed called.  Good luck!!

I am the original poster of this post and I received the email and clicked it and was told I was on the "wait list".  I am STILL waiting for the call.  I've answered ALL calls and it's been SOOOOOO annoying.  Since June 25th, I've listened to 10 seconds of the following recordings:
Have you found Jesus... You've won a cruise... This is Audi calling from the warranty department... Do you have outstanding student loans... This is the IRS... And last but not least, no one there after I say hello 3 times!!!!!
It's been oh so much fun answering all of these calls pre-recorded sales and fake/fraudulent calls.  I only have 23 more days until sailing so I will continue with the answering until then.  IF I get the call, the agent better hold on to their hat because I will flip out/scream/yell when I get the actual call from RC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who are these people?  These are probably the same people that can keep wine in their house.  When I go to someone's house and they have a plethora of wine, I am like - how do you do that?  We can't keep wine in our house for a collection!!!!  People come over and it gets poured!
But I digress...so I view the people who spend ZERO on board with the same awe.  I can't imagine going on a cruise and NOT having a huge bill at the end!  Much respect to you zero spenders but how do you do that???

Not necessarily the same people. We always have additional spending onboard, but we are able to keep wine in the house.
We visit wineries frequently and have rarely done a tasting without purchasing multiple bottles. Then, when we have guests and open a bottle or three, we make sure to replenish the stock in order to keep a proper variety on hand.

carpe diem -    in the majority of ports, these "authentic" cubans will be very over priced and questionable at best unless he is aware of the subtle nuances to tell a fake from a legit.   i'd be more than happy to share (offline) my overseas sources that are without question, legit Cuban cigar distributors.   That being said,  up until the past 10-15 years,  quality of true cubans has rapidly declined as they became more readily available through mass production.   I used to be a huge fan but now i've found so many more non-cuban cigars that are leaps and bounds much better than the current  stock thats out in the market place unless you can find an aged box going back before the cigar "boom" period.    I digress, as this is one of my passions (current stash is well over 2000+ cigars)  and i could ramble on for hours.   In short, when i buy them,  I never buy them at port for reasons mentioned above.   Majority of mine come in from Switzerland via Cuba at a near domestic cigar prices ($6 - $9 a stick)   legit, better quality,  properly maintained and best of all, much more reasonable priced.   more than happy to share my connections and he can see for himself.

Consider it!  Liberty of the Seas is an awesome ship (one of my favorites).  I am sailing on it again in September for the 3rd time.  
I am a little bias but it's been said before time and time again...the people you will encounter going on this ship are mostly from Texas (I would guess) and we are some VERY polite and nice people!  

There will be lots of places to buy Cuban cigars near the cruise port in Cozumel and Costa Maya.  I don't think you will have to go very far to find some.

Havana Bob`s in Cozumel sells Cuban cigars. Bought some when we were there in Feb.
