Sailed her twice on the last year and do not remember that offering nor is it listed in the cruise compass.

Maybe ask the moderators to move this to the Discussion board instead of dining.

My go-to entree in the main dining room is always a beef dish.  Prime rib or steak always works.  And on that extra special night, lobster!  In the buffet, the primo entree choices are more limited.  Minute steaks or roast beef when they have it.  Pork chops also, when they have them.
I'm no longer able to have desert.  But my wife loves cheese cake.  It's now rarely available in either the MDR or buffet, but when it is, she is happy.  My wife also loves cake, so that's her choice when cheesecake isn't available.  When it's available, in the MDR, I order shrimp cocktail for my desert.  The first time I ask, the waiters are puzzled, since I also order shrimp cocktail as my appetizer.  Once they understand my intentions, the shrimp cocktail is automatic.  And sometimes the waiter brings me a double.🥰  Before my life changed, lava cake or a brownie and a scoop of ice cream, however simple, was my choice.
Appetizers?  As above, shrimp cocktail is my favorite.  But sometimes I do change it up a little, and order a Caesar's salad.
The menu has changed, and my favorites are not always available, but I usually  find something to eat, even if it's in the buffet.  A burger patty with a side of hot dog is my steak replacement.  And grilled fish has always been good for me.
However simple I am, I also notice what our table mates order.  Some folks order escargot at every meal when available.  Everybody that orders it, loves it.  And the onion soup?  I've never had it, but it is a table favorite, every time.  We took our boy on a cruise recently.  He ordered lamb, and loved it.
So, although the menu changes don't please me every time, other folks at our table rave about the other choices.
Bottom line... I  appreciate everything, and if it sounds like I'm bellyaching, I need to be slapped and brought back to my senses.  These cruises are a Blessing from Heaven.

With 23 Disney visits under my belt, I will say we afford it by knowing how to find the deals, just like savvy cruisers.

That’s what I do.  I book with points and check every morning over coffee.  For our BDL-FLL (and brothers BOS-FLL) trip in May, flights started at about 24,000 each RT.  By the time we flew, I had gotten everyone below 15,000.  It’s easy to watch for and easy to make the change.

I did that before my last cruise a month and a half ago. Price dropped twice for hotel, including a $50-60 drop two days before arrival! I’m a constant price watcher for this stuff for trips.

Direct is great, but you should try nonstop some day 🙂

Back in the late 2000s, I found myself flying the Saturday morning, 6am ONT-PHX-MDW flight 1-2x monthly for like six months in a row. This was before WN had an ONT-MDW nonstop. There were always like 60-70 of us through passengers in Phoenix, sometimes more. Every. Single. Time. I guess that's why they started doing nonstops on the route. Anyways, those people in Phoenix who thought their A20 meant something got a shock when they found out they were really like the 85th person onboard and most of the good seats were long gone.

I have been flying SWA almost exclusively for 15 years now.  It is the best choice CT to FL.  I have no issues with boarding.  In fact I find it almost no different than legacy airlines.  The few times I flew Delta, everyone rushed the gate as soon as boarding was announced so you had to “excuse me, excuse me, excuse me” to the gate anyway.  At least on Southwest you’re in some kind of order.  I don’t stress about sitting close to the front, we all arrive together and I don’t make connections that are so tight that I have to be first off.  I check bags for free so I don’t have to deal with the 50lb “carry ons” people insist on bringing on board.  Picking up luggage takes 15 minutes.  In 20 years of flying have only had a bag go missing once.  As for seating?  We usually head to the back third of the plane and if by some chance we had to sit apart, we’ve been married 43 years.  I think we’ll survive 2-3 hour flight. Works for me.

Truth be told, I am looking at a 6 day on Adventure on Dec, 2024 for us, the kids and the grands.  It’s out of PC with stops at Labadee, Jamaica and CocoCay.  Don’t tell hubby!

I have found that leaving out cruises-reserved information with my spouse until it's absolutely necessary to relay is the way to go. 😉
