Pooch got a reaction from Baked Alaska in Complaint escalation
And frankly, I would imagine a large percentage of passengers are celebrating a “special” cruise, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, thank God we can cruise again, etc etc etc. I spent 25 years as a customer service manager. Sometimes you just can’t fulfill every expectation.

And if you aren’t talking about the topic of this year old thread, why are you posting here?

The perk of MEI is being there for you when something happens. They sit on hold with RC instead of you. I email my TA & usually get an answer within 24 hours. Yes, you can use Royal Up.

Pooch got a reaction from WAAAYTOOO in Beverage package prices in £ compared to $
Royal Customer Service is unaware of so many things. This is no surprise.

You sacrifice the ability to prebook to get the discounted price. That’s the trade off. If booking the second restaurant is more important, you will have to cancel the chops+1 and book individually.

Pooch got a reaction from Carlos A. in Advice on how to escalate RC losing my luggage. Give me all your tips!
I understand, when someone forgets an item on board, charging a shipping fee to return it. After all the passenger made the mistake. But this does not appear to be the case here. OP didn’t “forget” his bags. They were not where they were supposed to be or anywhere else that they could find. He should not be assessed a fee for mishandled bags. He didn’t mishandle them.

Again folks, you are selecting a terminal ARRIVAL time not a boarding time! The time you select may or may not have anything to do with when you are allowed to board. I have walked straight onto the ship with a 10:30 arrival time and have also had to sit in the waiting area for 30-40 minutes even with a 10:30 arrival time. Boarding begins when the ship is cleared and that time can vary.

Me too. He asks every week or so “when is the cruise? It’s on the CALENDAR!! The paper calendar hanging in the kitchen!! How can you miss it?? I never let him pack as he cannot match clothes to save his life. Garanimals for men! He forgets a belt every trip. OTOH, he does all the housework, including the laundry & bathroom so I’m ok with handling his packing.😁😁

Yes, the Genie refunds the money back to you. Same with Chef's Table if you decide to book that before you board.
