  4. Be happy you got your stuff back. If you have/had travel insurance, check the policy for reimbursement of the essentials purchase. Also your CC might have some type of reimbursement. How much are we talking here?
  5. The perk of MEI is being there for you when something happens. They sit on hold with RC instead of you. I email my TA & usually get an answer within 24 hours. Yes, you can use Royal Up.
  6. Again folks, you are selecting a terminal ARRIVAL time not a boarding time! The time you select may or may not have anything to do with when you are allowed to board. I have walked straight onto the ship with a 10:30 arrival time and have also had to sit in the waiting area for 30-40 minutes even with a 10:30 arrival time. Boarding begins when the ship is cleared and that time can vary.
  7. I understand, when someone forgets an item on board, charging a shipping fee to return it. After all the passenger made the mistake. But this does not appear to be the case here. OP didn’t “forget” his bags. They were not where they were supposed to be or anywhere else that they could find. He should not be assessed a fee for mishandled bags. He didn’t mishandle them.

  9. We found it mostly useless. All adults so we weren’t keeping tabs on kids (well I was but that’s a whole different therapy session!). One party couldn’t link to the rest of us at all. Messages showing up hours later or not at all. If you need real time contact, this doesn’t do it.

  13. But we had a hole cut out of the hull with heavily tinted and salt crusted window/rail. It really was the worst balcony we’ve ever had. I’m sure the recent refurbishment cleaned it up but you can’t change how it’s set up. I much prefer the balconies that are on the outside of the hull.

  17. Yeah that lack of glass on the balcony was a big negative for me. I spend a good amount of time on my balcony & the tin can feel was very off putting. We did love the solarium.
  18. I agree with your assessment. My response was to state doctrine. I know that most clergy will say go, keep God in your heart and enjoy yourself but OP said his sister was “hardcore”. My Catholic faith tells me be the best Catholic I can. Love God and my fellow man, attend Mass and understand sometimes stuff happens. God loves me anyway!

  20. All of that is true but, for a devout Catholic, physical attendance at Sunday Mass is a requirement except for exceptional circumstances. Vacation would not qualify as such a circumstance. Not making judgments either way, just pointing out. Does any other religion have this requirement?
  21. I purchased heavy plastic holders for ours with wire attachers from Amazon (reusable) but I am pretty anal retentive. You can print them & tape/staple them on as is, let the porters do it, cover them with clear packing tape, laminate them. All depends on your level of obsession!

  23. Yes, last page of your E-documents available approximately 30 days out. Print as many as you need. I’m afraid to ask how many bags you need & how much they might weigh if you are concerned! The porters at the terminal will also have generic ones available & will just write your room number on them.
