Check out the Duval Street Loop Bus, it's free and easy to get on.  Some good sites are Mallory Square, Truman Whitehouse, Hemingway House, The Butteryfly and Nature Conservancy.  Stop in Sloppy Joe's for a drink, the Southern most point had a long line when we were there last year and wasn't worth the wait to us.

Nothing not to like about Fauci unless people believe in insane conspiracy theories. I read 10-20 stories a day on vaccines. A lot of interesting and promising things going on. Sorrento therapeutics is doing some interesting work as well. As long as very serious people and agencies say its fully safe I will get the vaccine. I get the Flu vaccine with no issues, this will just be another one.
And no I don't believe Bill Gates is trying to implant a chip to track my movements....I already have a cell phone that does that. ?

Cruise Day 3:  Sea Day: Shortly after sunrise, towels began finding their favorite spots around the pool.  After breakfast it was time for some time in the Solarium.  We spent some time in a clam shell lounger and the tub/pool on deck 14, before moving up to a lounge chair on deck 15 to be closer to the frozen drinks.
Tonight was formal night in the MDR, we had purchased the all-digital photo package so it was time to get dressed and pose for pictures before dinner.  With all the discussion on what’s acceptable to wear on formal nights in the MDR, I took a look around to see what everyone was wearing for the first time.  I’d say that more than half the men were wearing slacks and collared shirts, some wearing ties, suits and a few tuxes’.  Only about 1% was wearing shorts with a collared shirt or t-shirt or jeans.  The cruise compass publishes suggested dress attire for the MDR, the ever accommodating dining room staff doesn’t want to confront anyone, and so as many have said you can wear whatever you’re comfortable in.
The evening’s entertainment was “A Journey in Time”.  This was a fascinating show filled with amazing skating and visual effects.  This was the only show where “The Key” reserved seats were in a good spot.

They have umbrellas all over, it was like 1 umbrella for every two chairs when I was there in February 2020.  We were at chill island and oasis lagoon both had plenty of chairs and umbrellas.

I can see the WJ changing to a cafeteria style eatery, grab a tray and silverware and have servers place the food on you plate as it moves down the line.  I wouldn't mind a food court station, breakfast and lunch serving fast food type options. A combination of the two would be great.  Also to maximize use of the MDR for lunch and dinner have one of the dining rooms with a limited menu that could be served quickly for those who would want a full meal, this would ease the crowding of the WJ.

I disagree that RC isn't trying or isn't communicating it.
The issue is the main stream media rarely, if ever, reports on it. They are quick to post a "disgruntled" cook's FB post as evidence of a vast conspriracy against the crew, but when the CEO of the cruise line says they repatriated 10k and working on the 20k remaining, zero mention by the media.
The result is the public (you/I) don't see the concerted effort going on. Nevermind the massive hurdles they face by insanely difficult government restrictions to get people home that has created a legal quagmire.
Unfortunately we live in a word of headlines, with few bothering to read the article.

I can only imagine the complexities that cruise lines are facing as they attempt to repatriate crew.  The CDC has not made it easy, requiring no commercial flights be used and only charter flights for crew departing the U.S. for anywhere, including domestic destinations.  Spain recently refused to allow Allure with just 300 Europeans on board to enter a port.
Take what the CDC and Spain are doing and multiply it by the 60 to 80 nations that are typically represented on board, then factor in very few international flights that are available.  U.S. and other airlines have grounded the bulk of their international fleets.  Each nation has it own rules and policies that when aggregated into a whole make it virtually impossible to satisfy, but let's just pretend there is no virus and complain because they are on a ship with everything provided for their well being.
You don't have to look very far to find stories that are oblivious that there is pandemic or the extent that the pandemic has impacted daily life for so many.  This is another one of them.  Over 315,000 dead worldwide but let's expect international flights to operate like they did before the pandemic.  Hundreds of millions of people have lost their jobs worldwide but let's pretend everything is business as usual.  Millions of people dealing with lost family members, a husband, wife, mother, father, brother, daughter, aunt, uncle, grandfather, grandmother, cousin or simply a beloved friend.
It's about me and only me, that is what this story is about.  Forget that hundreds of millions have been impacted in devastating ways, it's all about me.

Here is whats in it, a little sweet for me.  Its served in a martini glass.  It's a Schooner Bar specialty, but we have been able to get it at other places around the ship (i.e. theater)
Brandy Alexander: Remy Martin VSOP and creme de cocoa dark shaken hard with half-and-half and double-strained and dusted with fresh nutmeg: $12

Usually head to the Schooner Bar, Sandy Collins for me and Brandy Alexandra for the misses.  If still in the MDR maybe an Irish Coffee.
