Do you all find that it is cheaper to play slots to earn the free cruise certificate than to not play and price match to buy the cruise booking? I am comparing for 2 persons in cabin, one person is the gambler on slots (you get more points per $ on slots than on table games as per casino manager on the Serenade Curious since I average $1400 with 100-250 OBC for 2 in an ocean or balcony cabin. would you say on average that your actual out of pocket gambling funds would be less than $1400 to get the needed slot points for a free cruise? (I factor in the free casino bar drinks against the OBC) thanks

Do you really save by gambling on slots for points to earn a free cruise from the available list vs. just paying for cruise and price matching for the best deal before cruise? I have friends who swear by the 2400 points for a free cruise from the list vs booking and price matching for the same cruise. what are your findings? do you spend more to win the points needed to get the free booking than you would pay to book the cruise? thanks!
