This was posted somewhere on Cruise Critic.  Not sure where it came from but it's awesome!!
It's drink packages explained and for those that "already know this stuff" it's noted that any changes to the RCCL Drink policies are noted in red in the article.  This document ALSO contains Harmony's Bar Menu and Drink Listing WITH prices!!

My favourite things to do are as follows: -
1) Get a drink or two
2) Start making passive aggressive comments about how long it takes to have the room ready
3) Indulge in comfort eating to suppress said passive aggressive behaviour
4) realising you have no patience, normally after the 3rd or 4th drink from the bar despite having done 3 cruises already and this is no different from any other cruise you've done
5) thanking yourself you got the drinks package otherwise passive aggressive tendencies are going to be expensive on this trip!!
6) breathe a sigh of relief as you find the room is ready
7) attempt to sober up as you find out its almost dinner time and you have to look and act respectable
 
Exclusively in that order I find - probably an unhealthy start to any vacation but I guess I'll just have to work hard til I get to high enough status for priority boarding like yourself!

So when Royal Caribbean decide which ship to homeport in Southampton, I think that should give @Matt a good reason to sort out a Group Cruise for 2020!!

I'm just thinking won't Quantum be due for a dry dock?  Granted she's relatively new however by the time 2020 comes along she'll be getting on for 6 years old

Sitting at the doctor's office and came across the most interesting article. Thought I would share. Take away from it whatever you will. The most interesting thing to me was the fear of "chicken or beef". No wonder RC rates low for you know what! ?? still can't let it go!

Definitely worth it, especially if you're wiped out and can't be bothered making an effort (whether it be smarty-smarts for formal night or getting pumped up to wrestle children out the way... I mean go to the Windjammer)
 
I had the burger and it was just as good as Johnny Rockets in my personal opinion...  The quality was MUCH better compared to my room service on Navigator in May 2016 and the $7.95 is trivial enough for me to forget about it

Umm...the pizza snobs might argue with that ?

The way I calculate it is very simple (to me anyway).
If a in the price different of suite and a regular cabin   we can take another planned cruise I will go for the regular cabin ...  if its less I might consider it.
 

Nope. I don't think you misinterpreted. If you are outside of NA, what you see is what you get for some countries. And FWIW, TA or no TA, I always have to monitor my own price drops. I have yet to find a TA that will notify me. But some others here have really good TAs that do monitor their bookings for them. Being pretty OCD myself, I would rather do it. ?
If you don't mind booking more last minute, there are usually decent price drops on suites at about the 45-60 day prior to sailing window. Down side of waiting until then to book is airfare possibly costing more and not as much choice for the location of your cabin.

Seems to be a possibly expensive way to go about it - when you say gamble a significant amount, isn’t that just paying for it in advance then?
