  1. I’ve been watching since we booked (October maybe) and it has not appeared. Like you, I’ve been surprised to see the emails advertise it for our cruise, but not have it as an option. Having read on FB the number of people having trouble booking reservations with udp, I’m not sure it’s a loss. Then again there is so much food drama it’s hard to figure out what is real and what isn’t.
  2. Thanks! I’ll keep looking but enjoy my 3 night package otherwise!
  3. Hi, Finally booked my first post-covid cruise to celebrate our 30th anniversary. . We’re on a 5 night Oasis of Seas cruise to Canada and this seemed like a fun upgrade to celebrate. Shore excursions are slowly populating. Three night dining packages as well as as chops plus one packages are available, but no unlimited. Is it possible it’s too soon (cruise is May 28 2023)? Could it have sold out? Or are we out of luck? Any guesses appreciated. Thanks!
  4. How old are your kids? We’ve cruised with 2 rooms between the 5 of us. It’s easy to link rooms of the kids are under 21. You do this on the ship in photo area. Last cruise (pre-covid) my oldest, then 22, was still included in package since the 5 of us are traveling as a family unit. At some point, I assume adult kids are not included even if you are still traveling as a unit. Even if adult kids aren’t included as long as one person from the cabin with photo package is in the picture the picture is included.
  5. Porter at debark in Orlando was a life saver! He helped us find lost luggage then steered us to a less used elevator. He took luggage to car and then loaded it. My hubby had recently had surgery and could not lift any baggage. While my 17 yr old son and I could have handled it, it was much easier with his help. At Tampa, using a porter got us out of terminal so much faster. They had own line so we were through customs and on our way so much faster than if we’d done this ourselves. Definitely worth every penny imo!
  6. I’ll also say, I found the absolute best price on one of our excursions to be on a non sale day, about 9 or so months out. For a while, I was pricing excursions and the beverage packages daily. (Excursions seemed to fluctuate more in price than the beverage pkg too).
  7. We also took the Mayan Experience tour through native choice (dec2018). We really enjoyed it. I’d definitely take another ruins tour with them! We also booked a tour through victor Bodden in Roatan. https://www.boddentours.com It was the best of roatan private tour. We went to the botanical gardens, wandered on a beach, saw gorgeous views of island, and did an glass bottom boat. It was a nice experience and not too badly priced - think it was $125 for the guide and then cost of admission. We’d use again. (Same trip late dec 2018 or early jan2019). In Cozumel, we did the RCCL Mayan ruins and chocolate excursion. We enjoyed it. Chocolate was delicious, but the chocolate portion was super expensive and mostly just a store you wandered through. Ruins were interesting, but not as nice as those you can see in costa maya. I think we enjoyed see the beautiful beach (natural) more.
  8. Thx. I think it’s ridiculous, but physician insisting. It’s not my dr, so not my call. ?
  9. Does anyone know what brand of bottled water is included with refreshment pkg? Have a family member who needs to avoid desalinated water. I’d also like to check sodium content in advance, if possible. It’s a 4 night cruise on Mariner, if that matters. Hoping to avoid bringing own water on ship. Thx!
  10. We are a family of 5, so need to book two cabins. I was told on RCCL that my kids were included until they are 21 on brilliance. Sometime before dinner on day 1 we walked by photo area and they linked the rooms. On NCL, the following year, my oldest had turned 21. It was no trouble adding the second room with the kids. Surprisingly, my oldest was also included despite the fact she was 21 at the time. They said since we were traveling as a family, her photos could be added. I have no idea if RCCL works the same way or when adult children no longer count, but thought I’d share.
  11. I’ve been following the chill island cabana for our 12/29 Mariner cruise. High is $499. I’ve seen it as low as $429. Sale had mostly been $449. Oasis cabanas range from $399-$499, and seem to be on sale more often. I have not seen the bungalow. I’m hoping drink package drops. Best I’ve seen is $56. And while I’ve purchased it, I’m not sure I’m keeping it at that price.
  12. Somewhere either here or on cruise critic there are links to the old website. You can cancel a cruise using that.
  13. Thank you for taking time to go look. I appreciate it!!
  14. Thank you! First time posting, but I’ve gotten a wealth of information from everyone’s posts.
  15. Does anyone know if this book still exists? I saw it mentioned in an article a couple of years old. Among other things it sounds like it has a couple of different scavenger hunts, which I think my kids would like.
