Up to 2 carry-on bags per guest. For personal drop-off I think we can take our carry on to the Diamond lounge if it open. My question is. Does the diamond lounge open on embarkation day? • Exclusive embarkation lunch at Chops Grille® - seating from 11:30am – 1:30pm. We paid for UDP. My question is. Do we can get lunch at Chop Grille and include with our UPD package on embarkation day? • Private hours at onboard activities including Rock Climbing, FlowRider and more. The private hours schedule will be provided at check-in. Will be the benefit of the key • Priority port of call debarkation. Basically, you paid for suite benefit without staying in the suite or being a Diamond member and up.
  2. I think it will be in Port Canaveral in the afternoon on the 3 cruise day. Anthem did that for 7 nights but I like 8 nights better. The faster it goes seems to make me seasick after get into the North Carolina coast.
  3. I like Roller Coaster but I will not trust Carnival for operating it. Carnival always has a problem with ship malfunction. If it is on other cruise lines like RCI or Norwegian I might do it. (JUST MY OPINION.)
  4. Huh !! I guess. Baltimore will have Lady G until she cannot run anymore. ?
  5. Pump up !!! for OASIS to Cape Liberty. It is still 3 hours drive for us but better than nothing. Wishing RCI is making some change for Baltimore port. It is only 40 minutes drive for us. I guess still have Lady G in Baltimore for 2020. We just drive to NJ then.
  6. Yay Yay !!! I guess part of the Revamped is to lower the funnel on Oasis and now can fit under the bridge. Glad they do that. They must read some of the Messages here. ?
  7. Yea !!! it expensive for transatlantic.
  8. Not much of a reason to book a cruise just make sure you are more than tipsy that will make it easier to book another cruise. The last day on Anthem OTS on Thanksgiving's Cruise, we put the appointment on next cruise but not sure we will book. Anyway, we had too much to drink that night and both me and my husband pretty much loaded. We went to the next cruise and YOLO book it SYMPHONY OF THE SEA for October 2019. Somehow we managed to book the right days even though we really more than tipsy. We booked for the week my son will have 2 days off during parent and teacher conference so he needs to take off just 3 days not sure how we managed to get the day right that night but we did. So we will be on Symphony in Oct 2019. ???
  9. IMHO: I not sure but this what I think. Everyone has to dine somewhere and they already collect the gratuity from everyone. Basically, we already paid for the food on the ship but if we want something special than what is included with the fare then we need to pay extra for the food. FOR THE DRINK PACKAGES: Since I cruised with RCI, RCI had never included the drinks with the fare which they offer on the packages except for soda and juices in MDR but that was10+ years. ago.
  10. What is your itinerary? 7 days? Example My cruise was 8 nights and the night 7 was a second formal night which was the lobster. I think the lobster night menu was good in MDR and taste good. I wish I take pictures of the menu. So if you have a second formal night that will be the night that they serve lobster.
  11. The most 7 days RCI cruise will offer the drink card but the problem is it will offer either the day or 2 before the end of the cruise.
  12. I don't think you will have a problem with the entertainment reservations. Normally the shows are not filled up and easy to find the seat. You can still reserve when you onboard. When you get onboard walk into the ship, there are stations fill with tablets that you can reserve whatever you need but you need your Seapass card or the band to get it to work. You also can use Royal IQ apps to reserve everything. Just make sure download the apps to your phone before you are on the ship. IMHO MDR foods were not good but the Solarium Bistro foods were excellent so I will suggest checking Solarium Bistro for dinner. You will need a reservation for Solarium Bistro though.
  13. I thought UDP price shown includes gratuity. You pay that price and you just go to special dinning restaurant everynight but no need to pay extra gratuity except you want to. Confuse now????? Do I wrong???
  14. I know they play with your head that is how marketing do. Just keep an eye on the price it might come back to the lower one you saw before especially Christmas sale.
  15. Added to the cart doesn't mean you will get that price. You will need to pay to get that price.
  16. When I saw it is cheaper than what I already purchased I just buy it right away. Putting it in your cart doesn't mean you will get a deal. Just purchase a better price then cancel the old one that is how I roll.
  17. I had been on Celebrity cruise 4 times but not Solstice class and it is more for the people want to relax and have a good quality food. Not much of activities other than trivia, dances and games. It also depend on itinerary if you don't have a seaday and stop at the port everyday then I think should be OK for teenage because you and your kids possible out to the ports of call everyday.
  18. Entertaintments should open though I booked mine about 80 days be cruise. The activities, I couldn't book.
  19. Last week on Anthem OTS I gave the 2 people that working in the morning at La Patisseries $10 cash before I left. They knew me by name and made my coffee everyday while I on the ship. I knew they got some tips from my refreshment package but I want them to get extra. So it is really great you give them extra.
  20. Thanks for the info. LOL, that is my plan as well if at least one restaurant open. I got the UDP on upcoming Symphony OTS in October 2019. I know it almost a year before I can go. Just try to plan ahead. ?
  21. I not going to create the new message to ask just one question. If someone can help me with this question would appreciate it. Does UDP include lunch on day 1 too or it is considered port day still?
  22. I don't think I will get an email though. My cruise almost a year. I think RCI send to closer sailing date to fill up the ship. So people that already booked get upgrade they with the price they set and RCI gets more money. I YOLO the Balcony Symphony OTS in October. It will be nice if I won the JR Suite so I can join the Suite snob! gang. @Lovetocruise2002 ?
  23. Thanks for the info. Nothing yet for me anyway.
