Because he's still arguably the most popular athlete in the world and especially in Miami
Not disagreeing with that! Fantastic footballer who is one of the greatest of all time! but the question is should anyone with any serious convictions that has possible jail time be a role model and have things named after them?
Basically its saying "its ok to break the law you will still be treated like a god"!

I'll also wager they go with existing spots they already have and no way do they manufacture something just for the game. Like, Lionel Messi wandering around and showcasing the ship.
Never understand why they went for someone convicted and originally sentenced to jail time in Spain for tax avoidance as an "icon"

It's just totally different cultures. I live in the UK and gratuities are basically never added to bills. The only instance I've seen this is if you are booking for a large party (6+ maybe) SOME restaurants will add a 10% service charge, but you can have it removed no questions asked.
Im uk as well and its happening over here also!
Not sure if you use fast food but look at reciepts for " Service Charge" as long as they mention service charge be it on menu or website then its legal
We are now being charged for people doing the job the are employed to do!

Sorry, in modern society (at least in the US) a gratuity is a reward for good service; it is something to strive to achieve.
Got to disagree with this as places in the US put the expected tip % onto reciepts without even knowing how customers feel about the service or the food/drink they have received. And if you tip lower due to poor service etc then they are not happy about it! Attiude of some is Level of service or quality of food doesn't matter just give me the 20% thats written on reciept!

If you search for luggage storage in San Juan a few places come up that you can leave luggage for a few hours.

You're lucky thats all you thought because floater means something completely different in UK

I have Samsung smart tags on my keys and in my wallet (bulky in wallet but I usually misplace it). They work great for me. I left my jacket behind at a bar (had no idea which one) on a night out and was able to locate it via the tag the next day. The tag works off Bluetooth but it can "ping" off other people's devices to send you a location when you're out of Bluetooth range.
I highly recommend them.
Thanks ..this is what i wanted
Far better than paid for positive or negative reviews on google.

Tile is one suggestion. Samsung SmartTags are another.
When i searched google a few weeks back i looked at the Samsung Smarttags however the reviews were not great.

Obviously this is something easily searchable on google, no?
Yes it is but do you believe every review for items on the Internet?
Which is why i asked for recommendations

For others that are reading this string of posts...
I have Apple Airbags that I keep in all my luggage and bags. Once you purchase them there are no additional costs.
Obviously not everyone uses Apple, is there anything similar for Android that anyone could recommend?

Covent Garden is a nice location, very central within walking distance to most sights. Depending your budget you have The Savoy and directly opposite the less expensive Strand Palace. There are other hotels in the area also.
Very safe area even to walk about at night ( which is something you should actually do )

Not specifically cruise related, but there is a current discussion on a British Disney forum r.e tipping. I'm interested to know what US citizens generally tip in restaurant's, as it seems there is a growing expectation that 20% is the going rate for decent service? (or sometimes just avg service).
I do feel a sense of pressure to tip when I probably shouldn't.
There is Definitely pressure to tip!
Most restaurants will write on back of receipt 16, 18 or 20% tip totals because thats what they expect no matter what.
However don't feel pressurised into tipping if things are not what you expected!
At the end of the day if a place is no good you're not going to go back there so why tip
In saying that i have only ever dropped tip below the 20% once and that was at a massage parlour.
Fast food joints like BK or Mcd's i would usually just throw the shrapnel into the jar.
Also all the shrapnel i have at the of each night gets dumped on table at the end of stay i gather it up and give it the some random homeless person. ( saves having a pocketfull of coins to empty at customs )

I totally understand this.
Flight costs to Europe were/are a big conversation for us. We have two upcoming cruises from Southampton, one in the fall of 2024 and now one in the fall of 2025. The unknown for 2025 flights is a bit unnerving. Luckily, it's just the two of us now. When all three boys were young, vacations were a lot different. Thankfully we discovered Europe after they all grew up and left home.
We booked our flights to Italy for last month's cruise 10 months out, and the prices only got more expensive as time went on. We are now 11 months out from the 2024 cruise and hemming and hawing about whether to book now or wait. One thing in our favor is we can fly non-stop to LHR from Boston.
Something we decided before booking that European cruise in 2025 is that if the flight prices become ridiculous, we will eat the $100 pp change fee and cruise from somewhere closer. Again, we are lucky that it's just the two of us now, so the (potential) change fees are easy enough to put in the budget since it's almost two years away.
I hope you can find easy and reasonable flights for 2024.
Jetblue flys direct from NYC to London and have a new route planned for Edinburgh.
I flew with them across the pond in March, price was good and so was the flight itself.
Icelandair is another airline to check out.

And to have a whine about people enjoying themselves at dinner shows that it's time to find another cruise line.
My thoughts also!!
Be it on land or at sea people pay good money to go on vacation and enjoy themselves.
OG Poster needs to change to SAGA cruises

That's the point of making a fancy sign. It's one-upping the "put random stuff on a chair to claim" strategy.
Would be funny if it had to be removed due to breach of copyright!

100% correct
Some people talk about kids having no manners! Blame the parents for not bringing them up correctly then behave like spoilt brats themselves when things are not to their liking.

Interesting that it now says Ravenna. apparently RCG was sent a warning letter from the Uk's Standard board like the FTC regarding false advertising saying it was leaving from Venice.
Hopefully the complainant doesn't look at booking a 2025 cruise from Rome or a cruise that stops off a Le Harve ( Paris ) or Southampton ( London )

Government advice is not to travel to Haiti so you will probably not be able to get insurance.
Best option would be to get a years multi trip insurance for worldwide and including cruise. Obviously while on Haiti you wouldn’t be insured.
