Today we are going to check out hideaway beach for a little bit then get back to the ship for some flowrider this afternoon. Then mama Mia at 5.

So yesterday was a pretty chill day. We were both pretty tired. Wife was in the spa from about 1-5. I did the flowrider, got a little work done, and watched the sail away around 4. We had MTD which I hate at 6:45 and it was a total zoo. Line wrapped around the stairwell. After dinner we did a little shopping and walked around the track. We were supposed to see aqua show at 10:15 but we were rocking and it was pretty windy so that was cancelled. We were both pretty exhausted from being up at 6am so the wife went to bed. I decided to hit the casino for a little bit, but should have just gone to bed. It didn’t go well. Here’s some pictures from dinner, and yes both of the cheesecakes are for me. Already failed at the flowrider. Have to wait and try again in an hour.

Yeah they were boarding already at 10:20 when we got there. Just had to wait about 10 minutes before we could board. And I’m hoping it’s fixed. I know last Monday they left really late as they were working on electrical issues. So far seems ok

Well the wife has already spent about $500 at the spa on this “free” cruise

Left Palm Harbor around 6:40 this morning. Made it to the Port around 10:00. Dropped bags, parked, and waiting to board ship by 10:20. They have started boarding so hoping to get on soon.

Yeah sitting in traffic around Orlando now. Mouse lovers need to learn the gas is on the right.

@GatorCruiser this post is for you. Had an 8:30 tee time this morning at Copperhead. They are preparing for the PGA Valspar event here in about 3 weeks. The course was in great shape and they are building all the media towers and stands. It’s pretty cool to get to golf with it like that. Only downside was it was cart path only since they are wanting to get the course in great shape so lots of extra walking to my ball. Especially since I don’t exactly hit it straight. And with them letting the rough grow out for the pros, let’s just say I didn’t have them inviting me back to play with the pros. Here’s some photos for you @GatorCruiser

A little late night food porn for @OCSC Mike . My dad had a peach bread pudding waiting for me at his place after he picked us up from the airport. A lovely midnight snack before bed.

Well even though we left 20 minutes later than I hoped, I am at the gate with some food 20 minutes before boarding starts. Thankfully no lines for checking bags or security. Now hoping the plane is on time. I’m going to be tired come tomorrow morning.

Yeah my wife is the person who thinks she’s never late to anything because the party doesn’t start until she gets there. I struggle to convince her that the airplanes and cruise ships don’t care about that

And it’s travel day!! We will leave the house around 3:45pm for the 2 hour trek to Midway. The wife wakes up and asks what the plan is for today so I remind her that we are leaving at 3:45. I really should have told her 3 as she’s never on time. Anyways she starts freaking out saying she doesn’t know how she’s going to get everything done by then. We’ve only discussed 6 times that we were leaving this afternoon and she had to be off work early.

Very true. They must think there are enough new cruisers coming aboard that if they get rid of all this stuff now they will be none the wiser and clearly they think the new cruiser market is bigger than the old cruisers so they really don’t care much what we think. It probably helps them if seasoned cruisers go away to reset their high level loyalty members.

Allure is currently still in port. Having some sort of electrical issues it sounds like. Hope they get this fixed by Friday.

That’s all that really matters

Have you golfed there before? The island course is really nice too. I don’t think I will be golfing that one this time. Copperhead Wednesday, South course Thursday, and they recently turned the North course into a 9 hole that we will probably do Monday when I get back before flying out late Monday night.

Well, actually my dad is . I have played there once before with him, but this time should be extra cool. The Valspar is there in about 4 weeks so they are already getting all the stands and stuff put up.

Enjoy! Have you done Alaska before? It is amazing!! You will miss us, you are a few weeks before us. Our cruise is on the 18th. We plan to do our own interior for 6 nights before and get to Alaska on the 12th.

Thanks. Yeah that is me, the scheduler. Luckily I love cruises so much I don’t mind, but much less stressful this time needing to try and keep others entertained and feel the need to spend time with them. Now we can just enjoy ourselves and do what we want when we want.
