  1. Take it and watch for price drop, especially during Black Friday period. We've been there few days ago for 19.99. Seems like lower end Beach Club but without fancy lunch, children and taste of exclusivity. IMHO only for heated pool is well worth the money under $50 (I hate cold water).
  2. Of course the most important thing is that our thoughts and prayers are with those who are dead or missing in this terrible tragedy. Do you know if cruise port and other marine traffic is affected by this accident ?
  3. Yes, but I don't want to bother if it is not allowed
  4. place in the almost full sailing (Baltimore->Bahamas)
  5. Thank you for your comment. What makes you say that prime certificate is for Caribbean cruises only ? I was under impression that we can use it for any cruise up to seven days excluding certain periods and new ships
  6. Does anyone know if is it possible to book cruise for full refundable fare and once casino prime certificate become available in April apply this certificate and pay fees only ? Of course switch would happened before final payment date.
  7. I would like to confirm that I called Royal to make sure that it would work and they told me to go ahead. Therefore I canceled and successfully rebooked using this promotion . It works !
  8. Do you know if Royal applies 25% discount for solo travelers for this promotion? Currently I have 20% discount and system doesn't allow mockup booking. Sailing on Nov 19, so I don't want to loose my discount in case I cannot apply current promotion. Has anyone had such a case ?
  9. Once you see your prime on www.clubroyaleoffers.com, you can regenerate digital sea pass for your February cruise and you should be able to see your prime status on it.
  10. they’ve refunded our excursions but we had an extra amount for “an incident”. It might be related to the fact that we paid for an upgrade to the balcony stateroom (not Royal Up)
  11. Still we are very excited to see those ports instead of good ol CocoCay and Nassau. I understand that missing Perfect Day is disappointing for families with kids (1050 onboard) but for us it feels like an unexpected upgrade. Casino comp cruise but still we’ve got almost 100$ credit
  12. @SolariumSnoozer or any other Alaska cruisers If you can have a balcony cabin which side of the ship you would choose ? Especially to have a great view if the Hubbard Glacier
  13. Basically you can change higher denomination (and get plenty of $1 US bills) at two convinient locations: - casino cashier - the fastest and easiest but closed in the ports - guest services, if casino is closed in the port usually there is no lineup to the guest services desk with an exception of embarkation day
  14. I second @Blulady opinion. If Central Park is not a must for you, Quantum class is much more attractive. Just make sure that you’ll fully use 270
  15. That brings me to another question. Since both my wife and I are prime, and we are receiving the same offers, it would be advantages for each of us to book separate cabins. No extra expenses and double CAS points. Any downside on this approach? Is it frowned upon to do it?
  16. @PattycruiseDid you have to pay any solo extras ?
  17. @BrianBVery nice summary. My wife playing only slot machines reached magic 2500 points by spending total of $1500. So not bad at all :). Now quick question to @CHRIS WONG (or anyone in the know). If prime sails solo on casino offer is he/she awarded double CAS points ?
  18. Any Saturday or Sunday For example, I have one cruise ending March 28 (Monday) and the other May 22 (Sunday)
  19. With no sarcasm whatsoever. Could you please provide some sites that will do free or inexpensive PCR testing for non US residents in Miami or FLL on Saturday or Sunday morning.
  20. I disagree. Not the same as mushrooms soup since you have other choices. In this case it is like building cruise terminal in the middle of nowhere and include transportation from airport. After gathering clients, announce that you are not offering transit anymore but you made arrangements with independent provider and they will transfer your clients from $210 per person. If clients made non refundable too bad for them.
  21. You can buy it from your cruise planner. You’ll get like a punch card that you can use for all your extra caffeine needs (espresso, cappuccino etc)
  22. Incorrect. It was part of the service offered by RCL for international travelers. Of course they could stop this offer at anytime but for the clients that made their reservation based on the fact that this costly service will be provided for them, RCL should either offered compensation or full refund with no strings attached.
  23. BTW: When I was doing my reservations I specifically asked if complimentary Covid testing is provided onboard and the answer was yes. So it is not policy change but simply removal of the service. If they don’t want to refund your deposit you should at least try to get onboard credits. I will be calling them for sure.
  24. I get that Royal wants to offload cost and burden of those tests. This is understandable, but they should meet clients halfway. Charging over $ 210 per PCR test simply disguised me. Worksitelabs near airports are doing those test for $90 and still making money. Royal could find/negotiate less expensive solutions for their clients who travel from far to cruise with them. Adding over 840 USD for family of 4 on top of expensive flights is discouraging.
