But I want to know more about the frosted cookie.

The kids section had a pile of chocolate chip cookies covered in what looked like milk/dark chocolate & that one lonely white one. I flipped over all the upside-down cookies searching for more white ones, lol, no luck.

Anyway, I liked it. But who knows if anyone will ever find one again? 🤷‍♂️

I popped back in during dinner hours & same deal, all chocolate, so I replenished my stash of ranger cookies & got some baklava from Mediterranean night for later.

  2. Overrated lobster coming up in a bit. Not throwing shade, maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised. If not, no biggie. Wife’s favorite dessert on Allure in October was the molten chocolate cake so we’re looking forward to that. The chocolate hazelnut cake from Italian night was very good & pretty similar so I’m more optimistic about that.

Nothing exciting planned for after dinner. We’ll take a few more professional pics & find something to do, something to eat, something to use vouchers on, etc. We have reservations for Effectors II but don’t think we’ll bother seeing it for a 2nd time.

They had some Indian and Asian which was delish

Butter chicken? I only eat Indian on cruises so I’m no expert but that’s my fav. I had it the other night & some today with the paella. Probably shouldn’t have had 4 tacos after that, lol.

we’ve never had even a mediocre cruise.

That’s how we feel. Some are exceptional but all enjoyable. I have some bad food items of course, but there are 50 other things to move on to. I don’t like every show but that’s 45 mins of your day. Way too much good to outweigh the bad, IMO.

I also like how Wonder's ELF has dessert.  The chocolate one is so decadent and yummy.

Now I’ll have to go back, lol. I kept meaning to try them & had the caramel flan but not the chocolate.

I’ve been deprived. The only other ELF I’ve tried is on Allure and that’s not a real one; they just stuck the ELF food into Mini Bites or whatever that venue was so it’s not a great fit & has very long lines.

What are those little white things ?  Are they white chocolate chips ?

Yes. She actually wanted to make a normal chipwich with vanilla ice cream & milk chocolate chips but they only had chocolate ice cream so she reversed it.

BTW, I’ve seen complaints about WJ not having real scooped ice cream on some ships anymore but Wonder has had it everyday for lunch and dinner.

I know people love a runny egg but that is not my jam, which is why I stick to chocolate croissants/donuts for breakfast.

I vote for all of the above but you already knew that.

In sad other news the week has flown by, its already Friday

Thanks for the reminder! 😭 It’s bad enough I have my phone, the elevator sign in the floor, & the debarkation flier to remind me. 🤬 indeed!

Just saw this show last week, it was fantastic IMO. I felt the choreography and sound design/music selection was top notch.

And this is why most things are so subjective. Glad you enjoyed it. We saw it in October and pretty much hated it.

Everyone should try everything they think they might like no matter what they read, IMO, be it a show, restaurant, food item, etc.

I thought that looked familiar. D15 loves those. But I wasn't sure if it was a coffee drink.

Wife won’t go near coffee & only drinks tea for a sore throat, lol.

Strong possibility she eats/drinks more like your D15. Actually, safe bet D15 eats way more things. I married a big kid but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Being an adult isn’t as fun except for the drinking. 🙃

What kind of drink is that?

Johnny Rockets cookies n cream milkshakes.

We’ve mostly given up on trying to use most of them on more expensive cocktails, especially when we’re off the ship all day. No idea what we’ll do with 10 after this, lol. Some days I’ll have 4-6 actual drinks but not everyday & my wife will need 2 milkshakes/day to go with her 1-2 daiquiris. 1st world D+ problems. 🤣

    Park Cafe McMuffin

Follow-up… hard to go wrong with any breakfast sammie in my book, even fast food ones are fine. But what made me start eating these so often a while back was getting a runny egg & I got a really good one today. 😋

Need to work on my sleep issues so I can both sleep better (obv) and get back to my normal cruise routine. I really didn’t do much pre-7am this week besides getting to the CL for coffee a little earlier & I miss Central Park at 6:30am.
